Good morning friends. A fine three pass shave today with the Muhle R41 loaded with a Personna blade. Fantastic lather from the Palmolive Cool Menthol shave cream. I finished with Old Spice... smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Arko Extra Performance Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #291 Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gillette Slim Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

6/14/18 - Thursday Night Shave - Another amazing shave from the PERSONNA FLOATING HEAD - Modern JAP SCHICK Twin Blade [2]

I was in a LILAC mood and normally I choose the VEG (or the VEG Chooses ME!), but I busted out my 2 year old Stephan Lilac bottle that I got from my Barber Vic, forgot how awesome this after shave is. Weather is getting warmer and my skin is different, so no pre shave and no balm. The Catie's Bubbles Literal Lilac is just amazing - this is a luxury cream formula and reminds of TOBS, but better. Brush - is my treasured Semogue Synthetic - limited edition - Portuguese shave forum.

So cold that it almost feels painful (but in a good way!) when you use a setup like this. The Glacial Obsidian soap has a great black licorice scent, it lathers so easily and slick with a killer-cold menthol effect. The matching balm smells and feels just as wonderful and the Snake Bite stings like hell for a second but then it feels so icy and good. Another two pass BBS work of art!

Stirling Agar today. 20 seconds to load the Turtleship Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Wilkinson Sword “Light Brigade” NEW Chromium still in the Gillette Fat Boy. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Agar aftershave.

haha - it came with a fake batman cart razor and a little batman shave brush - the knot came out after 5 bubble baths - and the razor got destroyed with a Hot Wheels die cast monster truck toy - so i have a plastic CLICK de razor with no blade and one of my many brushes and my boy used that bath soap for his shave - i think he eats most of it = haha - he likes it so much that he leaves the bathroom kicking and screaming when we are done- he is like dad - loves his night time shaves listening to the radio

 

The BEST SAGE Scented after shave/cologne ever - I LOVE THIS SCENT!!! it is JUST LIKE a DRIED SAGE bush - TON of menthol and lime - all my favorites - sadly this is discontinued!!!!!!! i have a full bottle and half a bottle - so that should last me a while - i also have a tub of soap 3/4 full - i will use that slowly - sad that this scent is not really popular - it is a top 4 paa scent - 1. CAD, 2. Sacre Bleu, 3. Lime ice sage, 4. cold spice
