Tonight's shave was with a very heavy English Wedge. I had a very nice 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. Fun Razor, but on the large side, 7/8th.

Razor- George Wostenholm & Son, Celebrated IXL. Washington Works Sheffield. Big heavy Wedge.
Brush- RazoRock 400, WD High Mountain Badger Knot.
Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy
Aftershave- Florida Water

 

It's a good kind of old smell though.

I arrived in Cambodia three nights ago for my annual summer sojurn (7 weeks). After much wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth about which DEs to bring I decided to go in another direction. So it will be two months with just the MMOC with the Baily around for back up. I get along great with the MMOC so I'm quite content with the arrangement. See you here in a couple months.

That is one interesting looking razor. glad to hear you fixed the problem with the head, have Seen other people having the same issue so your not alone.

Is it the same razor (Focus) that these people are having problems with the head?

Yup same razor. I believe it was in a discussion on another forum. It does have a unique design which may have led to this particular issue, although it could have just been user error since it is a bit different from other razors. Have also heard people rave about this razor, so as long as it works for you that's all that really matters.

The Focus razor does look cool, and it's good that it takes 1/2 DE blades (unlike make other SE razors).
