Because the weather here became so bloody hot I think a really cold setup was very appropriate. The Glacial Obsidian soap has such a beautiful black licorice scent, its tallow formula gives it such fantastic lather with great Stirling slickness, the menthol sensation is like Siberia in midwinter, and it’s so skin friendly. The Prep and the Snake Bite aftershave provided so much extra soothing and a huge amount of additional freezing. What a delightful three pass BBS shave this was!

The Vintage Life Morning TOST Shave Soap lathered well with Tom's Brush B-3 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher Razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Iced Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

This was my first shave with the new Schick blade; and what an excellent shave it gave. Near BBS in 2 passes. The Soap and aftershave smell fantastic and the performance is top notch.

Sunday Schick shave, June 26th 2022

Razor : Schick e2 injector, Canadian variant- Mfg 1930'-40's, excellent mid range, very light weight (1OZ), still needs a light touch for those close shaves. Favorite of all my injector razors because of efficentcy and short handle + easy cleaning.
Blade : Personna SS PTFE (1) very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap : Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore, nice rich sent of Vanilla with hint of tobacco + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi Artic sky 24 mm silvertip badger, excellent lather generator, heavenly pillow like soft tips, gentle scrub, excellent painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Santa Maria del Fiore with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results :CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my Schick E2 injector with a Personna blade.

Here is my Sunday Shave (26.06.2022)


Preshave: homemade PSO // Razor: vintage Mulcuto Schrägschnitt // Blade: Gillette Wilkinson India // Soap: St James of London Mandarine & Patchouli // Brush: custom made Butterscotch // Aftershave: Floid Vigoroso

Great shave. Man, do i love this razor. It has just the perfect amount of bladefeel for my skin. It is thoroughly and very smooth and gentle. In combination with this blade it was a mighty fine shave. The Shaving Cream has a nice scent to it. A bit too much Patchouli for my likings but it is ok, The Brush made quite a good lather of it. At least for two passe because there was no third pass necessary. BBS with a few touch ups after two passes. Wonderful.

The Floid Vigoroso smoothed everything out. Great stuff!!!
