I think the last time I used this African Potato soap was a year and a half ago so it was high time to pull it out this morning. Truth be told it’s one helluva nice soap with a great outdoorsy kind of scent, it’s glycerine based, yet it lathers so thick, rich, slick as well as protective, it’s INTENSELY mentholated like any of the Stirling Glacials, and it’s very good in the skincare department. The Prep and the Rubby Dubby Doo worked their soothing, moisturizing, chilly magic, and finally the delightful fragrance of the Bleu de Chanel. Three passes gave me an awesome BBS shave that was so pleasurable!

Early morning shave,

A mild yet efficient early morning shave to finish my shaving week off wonderfully.

It's been ages since I last added the P&B Star Noir soap to my shaving soap rotation, and forgot how much of a wonderful performing soap it is.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling divine.

The coldest shave I’ve had all week so far and this is definitely the coldest soap on Planet Earth. Yes, it’s even colder than any of the Stirling Glacials or the Chiseled Face Cryogen - my brother Fernando in Johannesburg, South Africa knows what a menthol monkey I am so he made this Wintergreen soap and aftershave for me with about FIVE times the amount of menthol that he uses in his other mentholated products and the results are off the charts. The soap is tallow based like all of his soaps, the scent is the same gorgeous wintergreen as Stirling Glacial Wintergreen, the lather is unbelievably thick, rich, creamy, SLICK as well as cushiony and protective, the menthol sensation is almost indescribable because it’s so intense - most guys would find it either unusable or very uncomfortable, but the skincare is so good. The Prep enhanced the postshave soothing so well, and the Wintergreen aftershave is witch hazel based so it never stings or burns and it has the same delightful scent as the soap or the Stirling Glacial Wintergreen aftershave but the menthol kick from it is friggin lethal. Notice that there are no labels on the soap tub or aftershave bottle because as I said this stuff was custom made for me. Three passes gave me such a brilliant BBS shave that was so enjoyable despite my eyes tearing the whole time!
