Razor : Yaqi "Top aggressive slant"- Mfg 2019>, aggressive, interesting torque type slant, lots of blade feel for fellows who enjoy that, I use a Steep approach(riding the bar) with a short handle for less leverage and weight. It does look a little mean for a razor and it can be if you plunk it to start a stroke. I find this razor very enjoyable change and the shaves can be very stellar. One of my closest shaving razor in my rotation and will always be there for a nice close shave. Removing the blade with the top cap side tabs in the way I use a Q-tip to lift it a bit to get my big fingers to grab it easier. Nice razor to use when a person knows it well.
Blade : Personna red(4) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, nice XXX clean scent with a little menthol + excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Moka express" 26 mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber+ excellent lather painter. If a person like a big 2band badger this brush seems to work for most who own it.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco with witch hazel .
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent stellar shave that no issues with a Personna red blade. It does much better for a very close shave for myself.

This Blend 47 soap from Captain Nemo in Kolkata, India is really excellent stuff. Abir is a very nice young fellow and a terrific artisan who sure knows what he’s doing. This soap is vegan based with a really nice eucalyptus scent, it lathers beautifully with lots of slickness, there’s a pretty good dose of menthol, and it’s so skin friendly. The Prep delivered a wonderful moisturized, soothing postshave feeling, and the Aqua Velva aftershave completed the job superbly with a good, strong menthol kick. Three glorious passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that was lotsa fun!

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #426 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Parker Variant Razor and a Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lucky Tiger After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

This near wedge Kendal & Dent just pushed right through the stubble this morning. Lovely shave

Razor : Razorock 2nd generation Lupo.72 316SS - Mfg 2021>, mid range, very enjoyable design to work under the nose area, well built with excellent machining and finish QC. This razor checks most of the boxes for my desired excellence. Had a close shave with no issues this morning.
Blade : Gillette Astra SP (1), sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Razorock XXX Fresco, unique XXX clean scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Cavern lake" 24mm synthetic, excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Interesting design on handle that attracted my desire to own one, bought on sale last year.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock XXX Fresco AS with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless)
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my RR Lupo.72 with a Gillette Astra SP.
