Brush: Yaqi 24mm Naples Tuxedo Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Kent Luxury shaving Soap.
Blade: Personna PTFE SS Injector. (D3)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Setting 4)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Paco Rabanne Pour Homme ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend.

The Kent/MWF as always provided me with a wonderful protective slick lather for the shave leaving an excellent post shave feel...I could easily shave with this shave set up forever, but like everyone else I like variety with my shaves.

Another close comfortable efficient combined face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

Just yesterday I received this Cold Spices soap and aftershave as a belated birthday gift from a very close friend of mine - when I opened the door for the mailman I was totally shocked! Now, here are my thoughts on this stuff. The scent is supposed to be an exact clone of the Shulton Old Spice but I wouldn’t say that - no doubt it’s very close but there’s a difference. The soap lathers very well indeed, there’s fairly good slickness, it’s pleasantly mentholated, and it gives a comfortable postshave feeling. The Gold Bond moisturizer is excellent as a balm - it’s so cooling as well as soothing. Last but not least the Cold Spices aftershave went on with a nice chill and it smells great - almost but not quite the same as the Shulton Old Spice. Three passes gave me a wonderful BBS shave - this Tech is a helluva good razor!

The Musgo Real Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #450 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.R. Torrey 5/8 straight gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lucky Tiger After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

DE SOTD, Saturday, June 16th 2024

Razor : Yaqi SLOPE torsional 316 SS slant with a Yaqi Brass nickel coated handle. Mfg 2023>, mild to tame mid range. Well designed and machined with nice finish for my shaving needs. This slant is a great shave treat that is similar to regular DE razor IMO + the blade is torqued with a slight helical angle. I had a close comfortable close shave this morning.
Blade : Polsilver SI (2) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : La Toja stick, very mild scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi " Red Zebra" 26mm snow leopard knot. Excellent lather generator, luxury heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Another 26mm favorite synthetic.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel beard cleanse + Nivea ever refreshing splash + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi SLOPE slant with a Polsilver SI blade.
