I started with a Rapira that was used once. It felt like it was dragging, and after the first pass, it hardly felt like I had shaved at all. I replaced it with a new one and had a fine finish. I like the Rapira Platinum Lux better than the Rapira Swedish Supersteel blades. Have a great day everyone.

The Williams Mug Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #47 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Vintage German DE Travel Razor and the Gillette Super Blue Blade X3 Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Lilac Vegetal After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

What I would do to be able to get ahold of some more of this Noxzema Lather cream - mama mia I love it so MUCH. I swear, I would give up ALL of my other soaps and creams if this stuff was still available - its scent, the way it lathers, its cooling menthol effect and its skincare are everything I need and love. The Prep is so soothing, cooling, and moisturizing, the Polar Ice aftershave smells so beautifully as well as barbershoppy, and finally the Aramis fragrance which is so lovely - it’s always been a favourite of mine. Three passes gave me a brilliant BBS shave that was as we say in Hebrew a simcha gedolah! (A great joy!)
