The Fine Snake Bite Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #220 2-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick L1 Razor and the Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

OMG, this Absolute Zero stuff……it’s MURDER. (If you can’t handle intense menthol like me!) However if you’re a hardcore menthol freak then this is your ticket to Paradise. The scent is so nice - it’s a blend of aquatic and peppermint notes, the soap is vegan based, it gives awesome lather with plenty of slickness, the menthol sensation feels like liquid nitrogen on your face, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable as well as soothing. The matching balm has the same scent and it’s so moisturizing not to mention how bloody frigid it is. Finally the lovely Cool Water fragrance and I’m good to go. Three passes gave me an unbelievably great BBS shave that I really enjoyed!

The Monday shave.
A minor freeze! I decided to use my son' Proraso products. The shaving cream is good but the aftershave is excellent! Overall it was a very nice shaving experience.

Proraso Green is decently mentholated but by no means is it overwhelmingly cold. I think I’ll pull it out tomorrow morning!

Happy Festa Della Repubblica to all my Italian friends. For today’s shave I went with my second journey with my Lambda Athena and in honor of Republic Day in my Fathers homeland of Italy I went with SV 80th!

My second time with the Athena I decided to go with a not a sharp blade but one that’s a go to for me Filoso. The Athena again performed amazingly. Easy to maneuver, perfect weight, and an almost intuitive angle that the razor seems to basically slot itself into! Just wow! Amazing!

The SV 80th is also amazing! Soft, floral and woody! Very elegant, not overpowering, refined and perfect for a night out! This is a definite for a date night!

All in all a wonderful start of the week shave! Buona Festa Della Repubblica!
