Thursday's Cold Water Shave Cold Water Rinse Nivea Shave Cream Alpha T-400 Silvertip Badger Probak Razor Gillette Silver Blue CWR Humphrey's Witch Hazel Nivea After Shave Balm The Nivea Shave Cream lathered well with Alpha T-400 Silvertip Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Probak DE Razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Nivea After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Thursday morning: Cool shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 12 Bundubeard Impi SS Bundubeard Boomslang 1 ASB Brut Oceans AS Splash Finally our weather cooled off so the a/c is not needed, at least for now. Today I selected the Impi soap which my dear brother Jaco created a few years ago - this stuff has a very nice coffee/fruity scent, it’s glycerine based but does it ever give AWESOME lather that’s THICK, rich, cushiony and slick, it’s fairly mentholated but by no means potent, and it’s excellent in the skincare department. The Boomslang 1 balm is the lesser of the two Boomslang balms in terms of menthol but it’s still detectably cooling, it’s so soothing as well as super moisturizing, and the Brut Oceans aftershave smells great. Three passes delivered a delightful, easy peasy BBS shave that I enjoyed so much! Wishing you all a good day - be well and stay safe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Merkur 34S Razor Merkur SS Blade (2) Yaqi Sagrada Familia Brush 24/53 WSP Formula T Ol' Kentucky Shaving Soap Thayer's Unscented Witch Hazel Old Spice Aftershave A very good shave. I don't swish this razor in alcohol a few moments like I usually do because alcohol degrades silver plating and other finishes. It's fine for chrome and unfinished stainless steel. Not to let them stay in alcohol, but for a few moments to dispel water and sanitize is alright. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
Friday morning: Quick shower Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole Super Speed/7 AM day 13 De Vergulde Hand Extra Fris SS Lubriderm Moisturizer Sir Canada Ceder AS Splash Did you guys know that the company which makes the De Vergulde Hand products has been around for well over 450 years? This means that they obviously know what they’re doing. The Extra Fris version is a very nicely scented soap, it lathers superbly, it’s quite slick, and it’s very skin friendly. In the Netherlands where it’s from it’s really CHEAP. The Lubriderm moisturizer gives excellent soothing, and the Canada Ceder aftershave from Germany is unfortunately no longer available - a pity because it smells so nice. Three passes gave me a helluva fine BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely! Wishing you all a good weekend - be well and stay safe! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
