If I never shaved again, this would be the shave I would have wanted to have as my last. BBS with a slight layer of frost. Perfect.

 

Hey Jeff, I have a Parker 90R which I haven't used for a very long time, not because it is a bad shaving razor, it's really not bad shaving at all but, because the handle is so blasted slippery I can't hold onto it or control it. I cut myself pretty good one day when it slipped and turned on me. After that it's just collecting dust as a museum piece. lol If the Parker 99 has a well scored handle that shouldn't be a problem. Just thought I'd throw out my 2 cents worth.

I decided to change things up a bit this week and have been using Gillette Yellows and Feathers rather than my usual go-to blade, the Iridium. The Gillette Yellow is a capable blade and I enjoyed an irritation free BBS shave. The Alt Innsbruck provided the perfect finish for a warm summer day.

A very nice shave this morning. I didn't think I would like the Sweet Orange, thought it would remind me of hand cleaner, but it was nice with the Bay Rum.

Decent and very careful shave with my 'slant-trainer' 91R Blade is bad: cuts but tugs very much. Did two passes and a little of upward ones on my chin area. Still some whiskers left, but I didn't have enough courage to continue with that bad 91R boy

 

Come on man...I always look forward to the Schick being represented in the morning's photogs...Whats wrong with a picture of such a great combination....I dig it...

Very nice DFS this morning with the Shapleigh. (thanks Frank!) I got it because it was manufactured in St. Louis, Missouri, my home town and I wanted another American made razor for my collection.
This little "plain wrapper" razor is a great shaver and goes to show that they don't always have to be expensive and have a classy pedigree to give great shaves. There is no fan-fare or trumpets sounding when this razor is taken out of the case. There are no Hollywood starlets swooning and breathing heavy when they see it in your hand. There is no Gucci price-tag hanging from the scales. This is a mans' service razor...you take it out, strop it and use it; simple, efficient and comfortable! I hope all had a great shave this morning as well! :happy005

Test driving this Slim before I PIF it off tomorrow and for some reason it seemed to be a touch more aggressive than the SHSA at the same setting, not much mind you, but just a very small touch. Hence the 1/2 blade deduction from being a full blown 5 blade shave.

Still end then end, it was a fantastic shave, with nary a whisker left standing.

Of course I was able to use the *ce* s**ze** **es*a*e *a*m!

But now I'm getting close to the end of my test sample.

A fine shave this morning--the Futur never lets me down. I enjoy the scent of Taylor's Avocado, although I know some don't. When I used it for the first time a couple of years ago, I thought the scent was reminiscent of lilies of the valley. However, there is no indication on the ingredient list that this is the case. The scent does not linger and did not clash with the Pashana bay rum, which provided a very nice finish.
