I made it myself. It is actually from an empty ARM & HAMMER Deodorant stick. I just pressed the Arko down into it. It works great. I just rub it straight on my freshly washed face and go to town face-lathering.
I cut the logo from the wrapper and taped it on the container with clear packing tape.

I did a similar thing with Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap. I melted it for 10 seconds and poured it into an empty container. Applies the same way.

Ah, I finally made up my mind for Friday morning:

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/Derby day 3
Stirling Black Ice SS :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Gold Bond Moisturizer :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

Here's a nice set-up which I really, really enjoy. The Black Ice soap is pleasantly-mentholated, but not to the point where its sensation would cause any discomfort and it sure gives great lather with perfect skincare. I love its black liquorice scent so much - this is one soap which I'm so happy I bought. After massaging my face with the Gold Bond, the Aqua Velva feels so cooling and refreshing. I'm not really into any other fragrances until the weekend. I love the Derby blades so much. ;) :D

A fabulous weekend to everyone in advance! :)

    '64 Slim razor
    Omega Pura Setola brush
MdC Huille Vegetale a la Camomille Matricaire preshave
    L'Occitanne shaving soap
    Floid Blue aftershave
    Floid Blue EdT

Really looking forward to this combo. Each a quality product with great properties. I found a sweet little yellow mug for the L'Occitane soap puck at a local thrift store. The color of the Waechtersbach pottery(Spain)is a near match to the L'Occitane yellow. I will be trying the Slim on it's max setting for the first time as Ive always found the razor to be too mild.

Comments: I used the ATT R1 today with a 7 o'clock yellow and did a two pass plus some touch up and ended up with a DFS with no issues at all! No irritation but one weepers on the chin! The ATT R1 handled the shave just fine! The blade was very good as it seemed both sharp and smooth so no complaints with it. The brush being only my second time using it and it seems like an okay brush. I am told that it is a boar brush but I thought is was some kind of synthetic but I guess not! The tips are soft but the rest is kinda stiff but that it probably because it is new. I am not sure I like it that much but I will need more time to test it out. This is the my first time with this soap sample and I like it alot. It is very good soap, great slick lather and protection, although this sample seemed like it was trying to dry out some during the pass. Shave was very good today!

Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out! Of course, YMMV!

    Thx

    Lather – Mystic Water Lavender
    Post - Witch Hazel & Myrsol F/Extra

Happy Friday. Another great shave with the R2 this morning. The scent for the MW Lavender is intoxicating. For sure it's a finicky soap to work with requiring you to work the lather longer than most soaps. I have found it much easier for me to lather with a synthetic brush. The performance of the soap is top notch if you figure out the lathering. Finished off with a splash of Myrsol F/Extra. I am so ready for the weekend.

    Frey's Day:

Prep: Hot shower, Neutrogena Invigorating Face Wash, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm
    Brush: Simpsons 56 Best Badger
    Soap: Stirling Bay Rum
    Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC
    Blade: Bic (2)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (3, 4, 5)
Post: Cold water splash, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's WH, Captain's Choice Cat o' Nine Tails AS splash
Cologne: Le 3e Homme de Caron by Caron

Much the same setup as Thursday, but I got better lather. It was a better shave, too, except. . . . I had the beginnings of a pimple forming on my throat. I was mindful of it, and tried to apply zero pressure. I sliced it off anyway. There was almost no discomfort, but there was a good bit of blood. The area right around there isn't as smooth as the rest of my face and neck, which borders on BBS.

Yeah, no doubt about it - the Black Ice soap is awesome. Great lather, lovely scent with a good amount of menthol and plenty of skincare. This shave was really close and enjoyable.
