    Prep: Gaia face scrub
    Oil: Shave Secret
Brush: 20mm Whipped dog set deep
Razor: slim adjustable set to 5

    MWF

    Post: Alum sprayed on
    Witch Hazel: Generic unscented
    AS: Sampsons all natural

I was rushed this morning on my shave. I failed to properly develop the MWF lather to its full frothy potential and only had time for a 2 pass shave. Nevertheless, it was a well lubricated and smooth shave.

Thats another thing I like about MWF, it still provides a smooth shave even though I may sometimes be rushed to stir the soap to it's potential. Aces!

That's exactly why I choose it. I knew I was in a hurry, and needed something quick but still effective. Overall, my face has a few more whiskers than usual, but feels good.

    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Post: Omega balm

Excellent near BBS shave. The Junior is a gem of a razor. It is definitely a favorite. The MWF was exceptionally easy to lather today and the post shave feel is amazing. I can live the rest of my life using just this combo. Doesn't mean I will though...

Although the Glacial Wintergreen soap delivered a delightful scent with its awesome deep-freezing sensation and super-rich lather I couldn't get complete satisfaction this morning because all I was able to do was one WTG pass and no touch-up. I woke up much too late and had no time to shave the way I like to. Hopefully tomorrow and Sunday will be better for me. The Barbon aftershave's additional cooling effect cheered me up a little. ;) :D

Have a great weekend, folks! :)

Sorry for the late post. Busy day with an out-of-town meeting. Fortunately I stopped in an antique store that I never would have run across otherwise so I've got 4 newly acquired razors to post in The Haul this weekend.

Plus Side - Picked up an Ever-Ready 150 yesterday for $3 and cleaned it up last night so I could use it this morning and it turned out to be money well spent.

Negative Side - I had to go for the alum after pushing a little too hard trying to make this Blue Gillette SP perform as well as a Black Ninja but it's just not going to happen (at least in the FatBoy). I had some other issues with Wednesday's shave so I held back on being disappointed with the blade's performance blaming my lather instead. I'm sure that the allure of this elusive blade that's currently unavailable gave it a mysterious magical quality (at least in my head) that just isn't there for me but of course, YMMV. I'll get out another one and give it a run in a couple different razors to see if it performs any differently for me before making any final judgments.

I bowl lathered the MWF with my Frank Shaving finest badger brush today for a change. Lots of thick wonderous lather. The Gillette NEW and Astra SP did a marvelous job on the first pass, and my second pass was more touch ups. I ended up with a great close, comfortable shave. I took the ramainder of the lather and coated my face and forehead while I did my clean up. I love the way Mitchell's rinses so easily and cleanly. After a warm water rinse, I finished with a cold water rinse, Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Just a quick one pass shave to get DFS. I have a feeling that these new Razorock soaps are going to by my new favorites. This American Blend soap smells just like the aftershave, but not as strong. Now I'm off to bed , I have to go to work and a funeral tomorrow.

I used this method WTG-XTG-ATG tonight I did almost every thing the same. I made 2 passes . Had no Nick's and or Weeper's ! I will use my RazoRock Ultimate Alum tomorrow morning when I get out of bed. This evening I had no razor burn or "Nicks or Weepers". I just like the way the Alum cool's my face after I shave and before I slap on my A/S. I had an excellent "DFS" I did get a Rudy Castiel Clean Shave ! I was busy today bring the wife home from Rehab Center. So I never got around to shaving until about an hour ago.
