Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Scots Pine Bath Soap
    Soap: Stirling Bay Rum
    Razor: Gillette Slim [6]
    Blade: Viking’s Sword (2)
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip 22mmx48mm
Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman VI Bay Rum

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

I pulled out the great Stirling Bay Rum today: nice thick cushioning lather. The Slim and Viking’s Sword did their job! Great smooth, close, and nick free.
I finished with VI Bay Rum!

Nice shave this morning. The DVH is turning out to be a very good soap for me. Williams like, in the fact that I get very close shaves with it. It lathers great with a clean soapy scent and I really have no complaints. I've been looking to find a daily use soap and this might just be it. Have a good one, I'm going to work for a few hours this morning to catch up of some paperwork. "No rest for the wicked", lol.

Friday and Saturday mornings I was in a real hurry and had very rushed shaves. Today I took my time for prep and creating a lather for a long and luxurious 4 pass shave. It came out as well as I had hoped.

    SUNDAY
    Early morning shave

Posting this on my midmorning break: I had a decent 3-pass shave 4:30am shave with this $20 (ebay acquisition)Herskovitz—which has turned into a very nice shaver. My right-hand (solo) technique has improved dramatically over the past several weeks, but I do look forward to the day when I can go back to using my left hand more.

    Have a blessed Sunday, everyone!

Gerry, the MITA is one of my top-favourite soaps as well. I love the scent and the ease of lathering. I also find the menthol sensation a delight. :)

After: Fine Classic After Shaving Splash – Fine

A stormy Sunday, but mine started off sublime. Woke up early, anxious to try my haul from Maggards. After a leisurely hot shower, and my once a week head scrub with Head Shed, I was feeling like a great shave was incoming...

    Hi Friends,

moments ago i had a very nice shave and want it to share with you.

    Prep: hot shower
    Soap: Calani "Tulach Ard"
    Brush: Mühle 23mm Silvertip Fibre
    Razor: Gillette New
    Blade: Hema
    Aftershave: SavRon "Gentleman Club"
    EdT: Acqua di Selva

Very nice. The Tulach Ard smells heavenly. The Mühle made a wonderful, creamy lather of it and the Gillette New was gliding through the stubbles like a hot knife through butter. The SavRon Aftershave burned a bit but after the burn it provided extraordinary skincare.

My Eau de Toilette is the "Acqua di Selva" for today. It´s called "Water of Woods" (i don´t know if i translated it right, because in german it´s named "Wasser des Waldes"), because it smells like white moss, fern, gras and different types of woods. Just like an early walk through the woods in the summer, when the white frost comes up. Heavenly!!!

So,this it it for today. Take care of you and enjoy your time.

    Greetings
    Thorsten

    Great new soap!
Today I used Maggard Fougère soap, and it is a winner. The scent is woodsy and manly without overwhelming. The lather is easily made, slick and protective. The aftershave feel is great. This will jump into my rotation immediately. I got an easy three pass shave for comfortably smooth skin. Get some!

    Prep: RR/HTGAM lime menthol
    Soap: Maggard fougère
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: iKon SC101
