Time to Kickstart this week

    Simpson E2
The Shave Den Rose EO Soap :love029:love029
    Spyderco UF touch up
3" Tony Miller Artisan Strops Linen/Horsehide
    6/8 TI Evide Sonnant
    Thayers Rose Petal WH
    Trumpers CSF
    D.R. Harris Rose Bouquet EDT

    Great Shave

The Rose EO soap is Very Nice :happy005 great lather and skincare.....I have gotten spoiled with
the FO rose soaps and only wish the EO scent was stronger....it would probably cost much
more though :o A Great soap nonetheless and I have a lot of rose EDT's to finish up with.

    Many thanks JoAnna!! :D

Red Tip Heavy Duty Gillette SuperSpeed
    Derby Extra blade
    Vulfix Mayfair brush
    DR Harris lavender shave soap
Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue aftershave lotion
    Aqua Velva Ice balm

I make grandiose statements like, "I see no reason not to shave with the Merkur classic forever", and then I meet this red tip Gillette and fall in love. I’ve been using it non-stop for the last few weeks and have no thoughts of using any others. The added weight, larger diameter and manly knurling of the handle… nice! It’s supposed to be aggressive; I don’t feel it, I think it’s just right.

    Lubriderm unscented moisturizer

Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme EDT (discontinued, dammit!)

this Top Ten cream makes you want to take your time and shave slowly, because it lathers so well, it smells beautiful, and it has a lot of menthol in it. I think this shave took me 25 minutes, maybe even a little longer! ;) :D

    Monday:

    Razor: Merkur Futur / Derby
    Brush: Rooney Alibaba Large
    Soap/Cream: T&H 1805 Cream
After shave: Thayer’s Rose Witch Hazel; DR Harris AS Milk
    Cologne: Penhaligon’s Racquets Formula Cologne

The Futur/Derby combination was very effective today, even with the Futur dialed way down.

How did it shave? Please be honest - I haven't quite mastered honing the Friodur-steel yet, which is why I didn't sell it as being shave-ready even though it's freshly honed.

    Todays shave:
    Rodgers&Sons 6/8+ wedge
    Rasurpur 23mm
    Sir Irisch Moos SS-stick
    Swiss Pitralon
    I coloniali ASB

It shaved like a dream! I gave it a few laps on the Swaty, 50 whacks on a .5 micron diamondpasted strop and 50 on the leather...
