    Wash with TSD unscented soap
Lather TSD unscented soap with extra glycerin
    HIS synthetic brush
    Gillette fast handled Tech
    Gillette silver blue blade
    CeraVe lotion

Excellent lather - the TSD soap really responds to extra glycerin. The fat handled Tech was a pleasure to use. Easy to hold, easy to find the correct angle. Not too heavy. Three comfortable passes plus touch up produced a nice smooth face. :)

Everest brand is one good performer, both cream and ASB. ASB is dense (as most of Russian ASBs) so I usually put it on wet face. I totally agree about Torrey!

Oscar, my dear friend Dmitry who I love like a brother sent me the Everest stuff and every time I use the cream, I get so much pleasure from it. The cooling effect is pleasant, the lather is rich, and it gives a great soothing effect. That corresponding balsam in the light blue tube is dual-purpose. It's a cologne as well as an aftershave.

    Razor: Fat Boy 1960 @ 7
Blade: One pass on my left cheek with the Tiger blade and the rest of the shave with a new Shark Chrome
    Brush: Stingray Custom
    Stick: St. James
Post: Alum, Thayer's, and Nivea Sensitive Balm
    AS: St. James

I was really looking forward to using the Tiger blade. I only used it on my left cheek because it tugged outrageously. If you can get a comfortable shave with that blade, you should have no problem getting 30 shave out of a Derby.IMHO

That being said, I really wanted to try this blade. I would not have been able to if it wasn't for the generosity of alpla444. He warned me and he was spot on about the blades. Thanks for the opportunity, Brother.

Another wonderful and BBS shave this morning - damn, that Derbylux cream which is also from Hungary and produced by the same company as Barbon has a very nice, classy scent with rich, stable lather and a pretty good cooling effect. The Anherb conditioner and the Rubby Dubby Doo delivered the best of their iciness and soothing. ;) :D

Have a great weekend, folks! :)

Great shave today. Yesterday, I think I had the best post shave skin care I've ever had. This morning I just used VdH with the Everest Balm and again the skin care is just superb. So now I'll try a figure out the combo but I think it's the Everest balm. Tomorrow Everest SC and balm, Sunday some other soap and the balm. Have a good one.
