Hi Mike,yeah the ice cube rub.I've been doing that since I read about it on another forum.The claim is that it helps sooth the face and help prevent razor burn.Well it sooths the face and head,I'm not sure about the razor burn part but it seems to help.I've been cold water shaving since the summer started and it is refreshing on a hot day.I've also been using ice water and a few cubes in my brush scuttle to help keep my brush cold,even if I'm bowl lathering.I haven't tried the ice water in my regular scuttles yet but the day is coming soon LOL!!!!

I didn't get enough RazoRock and had a horrible lather. So, I pulled out the TSD soap and got what I was looking for!

The TSD Bourbon Vanilla is a dream. It smells so good and that cream is easily my new favorite I think it convinced me quite handedly to join the COTQ when I get paid.

Took Friday off and today was lightly staffed at the office. Tonight I had my first shave since Thursday morning and I probably should have changed the blade out before I started. Not a bad shave at all, but there was a slight bit of tugging towards the end. Not sure why, but I grabbed the bottle of AV Ice Blue Classic to finish things off.

I got a decent lather from my new formula Williams shave soap. Does this mean I am starting to crest the lather making learning curve? Maybe, there are probably other soaps available that are hard to lather. I got a 3-pass DFS shave from the Gillette blade on the 4th day of use. I am really impressed with this blade it appears to have surpassed the Personnas.

This Bozzano Sensitive cream from Brazil gives such an explosive and rich lather with a nice eucalyptus scent, as well as a good cooling effect. It also does a great job of protecting the skin against irritation and razor burn. After this wonderful shave the 444 and Osage Rub felt like menthol heaven!

Great shave this morning with the little Ern. This is one I rescaled, the original scales were badly warped but the blade is mint. My son in law will probably end up with this razor eventually (he likes smaller razors) but every time I shave with it.....I figure I should keep it around and shave with it a few more times before I pass it along to him. Anyway, very nice shave this morning and it's always a pleasure to use D.R. Harris. Have a good day.

Result: 3 passes on the face left it almost BBS, but the neck still had stubble to deal with, which the EJ handled well with 1 pass and some touch-up. I could have done 2 passes with the OCMM + one on the neck with the EJ and probably gotten about the same result. My level of play with this OCMM is progressing much better this time around.

It's day one for the rocket and it is amazing! It shaves just like the old one I had before. The first 2 passes went very smooth, and I pushed for a third even though I knew it would go rough. The third pass was a bit harsh, but even so, I got a nice smooth shave!
