Back here, finally. It was a long time off...
    Old daddy's slant/Feather
    Vie-Long horsehair brush

    Tet-a-tet ASB
Feather in that old Soviet slantbar reminds me a lightsaber from StarWars. If you're concentrated enough, you even don't feel the blade at all. Miss 'the force' and enjoy the immediate punishment. Meditative BBS...

Razor: 69 Slimline Gillette Adjustable (set on 9)
Blade: Gillette 7 O’clock Super Stainless (6th use)
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip
    Cream: C.O. Bigelow
A/S: Alum Bar & Cold Water Rinse
    A/S: Aqua Velva Ice Blue

Lather was much better and I got a BBS shave with a little razor burn. I also nicked a mole which I haven’t done in a long time. This was the last shave for this blade I will load a Feather Hi-Stainless from the sampler pack I got on Amazon when I first started as a wet shaver. I am very impressed with the Gillette 7 O’clock Super Stainless. The Gillette has performed better than any other blade I’ve tried so far. :happy088:

    Wednesday evening ...

    RSC Shave Oil
    VDH Glycerine
    Vulfix 404
    '73 Black Handle w/ Trig
    Warm + Cold Water Rinse
    Floid Blue
    Nivea Anti-Irritation ASB

One too many passes on the Trig blade. I should have known after a tuggy first pass and almost immediate redness on my neck. But no, this bozo just keeps going. Turned out a pretty close shave, that's the only plus. Oh, and my wife just commented "wow, you smell fresh!". That's the Blue Floid baby

    Early Thursday

What is it about shaving late at night that can be so ... awesome cathartic relaxing casual calming?

    Eucerin cream
    Warm shower
    Simpson Milk Churn
    MWF
Merkur 37c HD Slant w/ Gillette Super Thin (Thai)
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Cetaphil Gentle
    Nivea Sensitive

So my real motivation for a late night shave was to spend some time enjoying the MWF  . Was MWF supposed to be the bane of badger? Not this badger (Simpson Milk Churn)! Chalk up another positive. Finding that MWF simply ... performs ... for me anyway.

DFS+ by means of wtg, xtg, atg, light touch-up. Held myself back on the BBS ... kept it comfortable.

Ever heard the joke of th.......... zzzzz zzzzz zzzzz............ Good night!

I'm really impressed with these Shark blades because they have excellent longevity and smoothness and give terrific shaves. IMO they're better than the Nacets, which also come from Egypt. The Arko Ice Mint's lather is awesome, like all the other Arko creams, and the scent and cooling effect are great. This time I tried the combination of the 444 and Barbon, and it left me with a frozen face! ;) :D

Tuned up a J. Allen stubby tailed Sheffield, medium grind for this mornings shave (pretty wedge like in feel). No idea what the soap is but it smelled nice and performed well, best guess, Mystic Water Lime. Skin feels great. Very nice shave this morning, close and smooth. Have a good one.
