It's been a weird week. My boss was in town evaluating my center, Jeff was out of town, and I got sick. I haven't called in sick in almost 4 years!

All is better now; Jeff is on his way home, I feel better today, AND I had a great mentholly shave!!

First shave with the OCMM and man did that thing get the better of me. I got a nice close shave, but had plenty of weepers and a good amount of burn from the Alum. It reminds me of the first time I picked up a DE razor. I definitely need to work on the technique a bit, but overall I'm happy with my first outing.

Had to skip the Injector, Friday is my straight day. These big monster
str8's seem to be more forgiving than the little guys. Is that me or has anybody
else noticed that?

lol Dale. MMs are beasts. Give it a week and you'll figure it out. I ultimately got rid of mine, it was just too aggressive but I mastered it first. Hopefully you'll enjoy it more than I did.

Thanks guys. Yeah I wasn't expecting miracles today, but I had a few more weepers then I should have. I think it was the stiffness of the blade and the aggressiveness of the razor as I tried to have a very light hand. I will not let this thing beat me. I love the looks of it and will make it work for me.

A magnificent 3 pass Siberian Winter-face-freezing shave from a great cream. This tube of Palmolive Menthol is almost at the end, but I have a few more back-ups, so I'll be ok for quite a while. Since I received this Super Speed as a gift a couple of years ago, to this day I still cannot believe the wonderful and comfortable shaves it gives me.
