The Col. Conk Bay Rum Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Semogue 1800 Boar brush. Two passes with my Gillette NEW SC razor and a Sputnik blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I'm gonna put away my merkur and bring out my slim. I'm gonna test the feather in the slim =)

 

It's my fault. I was tired but really wanted to shave! Haha

As I Said im gonna Go back to my slim.

TOBS grapefruit is very nice actually, great smell and good performance. Yesterday it was a bit dry, but I used a lot of cream hehe, added some water and it was much better. I think TOBS in any scent will be great. I'm eyeballing the peppermint after I saw it in a SOTD haha

 

My face feels like it has a built-in air conditioner after this shave with the Glacial Wintergreen soap. The matching balm and witch hazel completed that freeze beautifully. BBS again, and I had so much fun while shaving!

Today was my first day of using The Veg. I am still trying to decide if I have been chosen or not. The initial whif of urinal cake almost did me in, but I proceeded, and the urinal cake smell is dissipating.

First shave with my Fatboy. Superb. I have a Slim and a Super Adjustable 109, the Fatboy definitely has more heft to it. I ended doing 3 passes on 7 and maybe 5-6 on 2 Caties LMR is excellent.

Guy, You are the only person I know of that has actually used ABC. What can you tell us about it? Is it as slick as they claim it is? How is the cushioning? how does it stand up to other creams?

Tabac today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11 Badger. Great, easy, thick, lather. Gillette “Spoiler” still in the Slim. Great smooth, close, shave. I finished with Tabac.

Last evening I went out to buy a few more pucks of Williams...and there on the shelf in front of me was the Proraso Green...calling my name. I could hear the little demon sitting on my left shoulder saying, "Yes...just one more soap...there is room on your shelf...go on...buy some". So, rather get into an argument in the shaving aisle with an invisible demon sitting on my left shoulder...and being a person of limited will power...I bought some...and this morning I was pleasantly surprised. The scent was very mild...(I can tolerate it well). And the lather...wow...this stuff is great. I can see why it is so popular. Great shave. 10/10. TGIF.

In Canada, Shoppers Drug Mart carries a fairly good selection of mainstream shaving products, including Proraso.
