The knot on this brush is a Semogue set in a slightly larger hole and lofted at 52mm. I seem to be reaching for it often even though I consider myself a boar fan.

today's shave was nice. my 5 year old said he needed a shave. do we took care of that. three complete passes left us both clean and smooth. finished with clubman.
I'm craving lime aftershave, I'm gonna get some of them when nbj is over.

    Shea Moisture to the rescue
This was not a great shave. I got a little irritation from the razor, but much more when I realized that The Colonel is cracked! I saw it when I made the photo- I guess it is homage to the Liberty Bell. I wonder if this crack is a warranty thing with Simpsons? I'll contact them next week to find out.
Shea Moisture balm cured my neck tenderness quickly and easily.

    Prep: warm shower
    Soap: B&M Rhapsody
    Brush: Cracked Colonel
    Razor: Fatboy
    Blade: Voskhod (1)
    AS: B&M Cologne Russe

    Happy 4th of July!

    4th of July SOTD

    Razor: Stahly Live Blade
    Blade: Astra SP
    Brush: Semogue 1320
    Soap: RazoRock XXX

Another fun day with the Stahly. Definitely not a razor I want to use on a regular basis, just because of its awkwardness. A very nice DFS shave today with the slick RazoRock XXX soap. More work than usual, but it was fun! Happy 4th!

Did you wind up the Stahly?
I hear most people buy them just for the head and then puts it on whatever their handle of choice is.
One razor if like to try one day,

Yep! I figured why not try it! The only problem it doesn't vibrate too long. It needed rewound after each section of my face. I also found when it's vibrating and you take slow long strokes it actually shave very well.
