After re-configuring my FaTip Piccolo head onto a Weber Wave handle yesterday, I had the extra Piccolo handle that didn't fit any other razor head. After going through my collection, I tried it on a French razor and it fit! The Frenchie's handle was solid brass and nickle which was well use worn. It was about the same weight as the Piccolo handle and the threads were compatible so I replace it with the Piccolo. Wha-la! A very nice looking razor was born. The lighter weight of the very thin Old Type head of the Frenchie was in perfect balance with the Piccolo handle and the Old Type head isn't as aggressive as the FaTip head so, the performance was outstanding. Happy days!

 

I'm with you there! I have to settle for Peet's dark roast until I get around to roasting some more. The larder is bare, so obviously my personal roaster is a slacker sometimes.

I'm impressed with the new Proglide series, these things do last quite a bit, I only had to use 2 over the exercise because I was shaving my head at the same time, which of course puts more use on blades than just the face. Time to relax a great deal.

Smooth as silk, smelling and feeling great after a perfect shave this morning. This new Proraso Green cream is simply awesome - such rich lather, the cooling effect is brilliant, and the skincare is just how I need it. The Diana Sport balsam and the Aqua Velva are both so brrrrrrrrrr cold and beautiful!

I really like Klar Klassik SS. Great scent and good protection while shaving and nice post shave feel. Very nice comfortable shave this morning, a good way to start a Friday morning but I doubt it will end up that way. Have a good one.
