    Oil: Shave Secret
Brush: 20mm Whipped dog set deep
    Scuttle Georgetown Pottery
Razor: slim adjustable set to 5

    MDC Fougere (Martin de Candre)

    Post: Alum sprayed on
    Witch Hazel: Generic unscented
    AS: None

I used MDC Fougere for the third time today. Because my face has felt so moist lately, I am skipping the AS for a couple of days while I test out MGD. The MGD is very moisturizing.

This was my first shave with my new Ever-Ready 1924. Overall impressions are good, but I really need to work on my technique. My cheeks, upper lip, and chin are extremely BBS. My neck got a few nicks on it. Nothing serious, but it didn't feel too good. I think I'm starting to like SE shaving.

This was also my first time actually using Aqua Velva Ice Blue after a shave. When I was a kid, I used to take it out of my parent's bathroom and put it on. It is a pretty good product. It toned my skin up pretty well and had a nice cooling sensation. I put some Myrsol Emulsion on my neck because it was still feeling pretty rough.

    Razor: Gillette Slim (6)
    Blade: Shark (5)
    Post: Stirling Lemon Chill WH

Very cold shave. It reminded me of a menthol Monday. Love the Stirling Witch Hazel. It's quite cold, but leaves your skin feeling great. Good stuff!

    Noxzema Classic Clean
    Williams Mug Shaving Soap
    VDH Natural Boar
    Schick M Adjustable
    Schick Injector Stainless Blade
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Pinaud Clubman AS

It was a great shave this morning. I started out a little thin with the Williams Mug shaving soap, but it got better. The VDH Natural Boar is doing a great job of face lathering. Two passes with the Schick M adjustable and Schick blade left me with a clean, comfortable shave. A cold water rinse, some Thayers Cucumber WH, and Pinaud Clubman after shave finished off this Independence Day shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

First of all Happy 4th of July to all my dear friends in the US and many more! :) :)

I really enjoyed this shave a lot - although not as frigid as yesterday, it was still very cold and nice. The Ice & a Slice is a soft soap with good lather although it takes a bit of effort to get it going right, with a nice citrusy scent and a pretty strong menthol blast. As always, the 444 balm delivered on the extra cooling and soothing. The Penguin never fails me either on that note. My Sharp blade is still performing quite well. ;) :D

Have a great weekend, folks! :)

I thought I was coming near the end on my DR Harris puck weeks ago, but that half-moon just continues to make boat-fulls of excellent lather. This soap has seemingly lasted forever, which is good. However, I am looking forward to trying something new too. Just when I wish it would be done - it delivers my best lathers! Now I am "milking" it.

All American Independence Day Shave! [IMG]

Prep: Hot Shower-American Stirling Scots Pine Bath Soap
Soap: American Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic
Razor: American 1950 Gillette 40’s Style Super Speed-Birth Year
Blade: American Personna Med Prep (1)
    Brush: American oscar11 24mmx50mm
    Aftershave: American Krampert’s Frostbite

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Independence Day! I pulled out one of my favorite soaps for the 4th, Stirling Margaritas in the Arctic! I paired it with my Birth Year 40’s Style Super Speed and a new Personna Med Prep blade. My oscar11 brush quickly produced the great lather MITA generates each time! I finished with Krampert’s Frostbite. For me, it is the perfect AS to match with the MITA! What a great shave, and a great start to Independence Day Weekend!
