I really enjoy this soap in how lathers easily, I really enjoy the scent also.
Razor for today Gillette "Super Adjustable" , with a Bolzano blade. Dialed up to #6.
Three comfortable passes resulted in a :2thumbs: DFS.

After a great shave, cold water splash. Facial rub down with RazoRock Alum, and a cooling splash of TSD Lime Verbena.

To be honest, I did not give the Piccolo the work out and test that it deserved. I had gotten caught up in SE RAD bad, and had only used it twice before selling it. The finish is better on this one that my first one in nickel, but everything else is about the same.

After a few days of using this stock, I am going to try with other handles on it.

This is the first time I have used the Barbasol razor so I was cautious, making only one pass. The result was a spotty, uneven shave that left me with considerable lower neck irritation. On the positive see, I liked the handle length and overall heft of the razor. I'm thinking now that I will let the Barbasol sit for awhile and try it again later. Maybe December.

My face tells me that I must have dialled the Vision up a notch too many. But nothing the Musgo Real Classic AS can’t handle, the skin feels already much better.

Results: DFS

The Vie-Long 13120m has to be the scritchest brush I own. I've got several Horse Hair brushes and none of them come close to this brush on scritch. For it's small size it does produce a lot of lather. Almost as amazing a the Wee Scott (almost).

Razor: '62 Gillette Adjustable slim (on 5)
Blade: Feather yellow day 3
Lather: Col. Conk almond soap and TOBS Avocado cream.
Post: cold rinse, Thayer's witch hazel with aloe,
A/S: Brut Splash

 

Conk Almond and Avocado? How did those scents mixed smell and how did it perform?

 

The smell was good, it mellows out the "fresh veggie" scent of the avocado and is a little sweeter and creamier scent. As for performance it is great, the conk doesn't build a rich creamy lather that I found I like but it is very slick where as the opposite is true with the TOBS. Its A little of both worlds and my skin feels great after a pleasurable shave worth, trying of you have the soaps
