Holy moly! That's a serious VBS production!

 

For my first shave with the 1924, is used a GEM Stainless with 12 shaves. This did not give me a true representation of the Razor. I did a lot of buffing to get to my level of smoothness, which leaves me with some irritation. I lathered the HeV Cognac and Cuban Cigars with an Omega 10005 and finsihed with Nivea Cool Kick ASB, and Brut AS & Cologne. I will have to wait for my new Gem Stainless PTFE blades before I use any of my other SE razors. Have a blessed day gentlemen.

My fifth shave with this razor/blade combo and still going strong. Two passes with a hint of touch up for an extremely smooth and comfortable BBS shave.

 

Months of planning and a real team effort goes into the program.
The large 30-minute productions depicted in the video below (three songs, a short teaching video, etc.) occurred twice daily for the five days.

 

Made it back from Germany this morning and my my first shave back was enjoyable.

Two Passes, WTG/ATG and XTG as a clean-up. The 1st 2 passes were picture perfect, a little lather here and there on the clean-up made for one Happy Camper, BBS all the way. Wishing for the same for all. God Speed to each.

Thanks Doug. First time trying out the Neumann Old Fashioned Soda and the aroma reminds me of those Root Beer barrels I use to enjoy as a kid.

After 2 days of growth, I went at it with the Futur and it gave a BBS shave with 2 passes. Even with the Futur on its least aggressive setting, it still does a fantastic job and feels plenty aggressive still but without the fear of making a technique blunder. It's a very safe shave with zero irritation and smoooooth results. I seem to like the Futur more as time goes on and I become better with it. Eventually I will try the more aggressive settings, but right now I just don't feel the need to as the results are as good as I can expect.

Afternoon cold water shave. After 5 shaves, the blade is showing signs of degradation. I should still be able to pull a few more shaves from it.

After the cold water splash, I really enjoyed the superior 70 with a drop of Mbomb.

A lovely shave with my French frameback. I feel like I'm still learning the optimal angle and pressure but it provided a surprisingly smooth and close shave.

Another excellent shave this afternoon, everything came together for a DFS. This Cashmere knot is so soft but it does a great job and the 30DC handle is a pleasure to use. I love the scent of Lavanille and the performance is top shelf. Have a great day folks!
