Gillette Fat Handle Tech Wilkinson Sword [2] Golden Nib Silver Tip Godrej Menthol Mist Nivea AS Balm AV Ice Blue Haven't posted up here in a little while, but I just had such a great shave revisiting this tech. I tried it when I got it months ago and it rubbed me the wrong way, but I picked it up again today and it gave me the smoothest, closest, and most effortless shave I've had in a while. Also the MM was in the back for a little while, but what a great cream. A shave worth being late for!
Sunday's Shave Hot Shower Arko Shave Stick/Arko Max.Comf.AS Omerga 10029 Baby-Pro, boar 1965 Gillette Slim Adjustable @9/Derby (Day2) Arko Nem moisturizer/Arko Aqua AS Guerlain Habit Rouge EdT I've been responding to alot of threads lately, about Adjustable Razor preferences...And I always without hesitation pontificate on my love for this Slim Adjustable...So I decided to take her out this morning for an overdue drive around my whiskers... It's been awhile since I've done 3 passes with my Slim @9.... Very Very Sweet...Drove like a Cadillac...the only surprise was how effortless and irritation free the whole shave went down...:happy108 I am still absolutely in love with this razor, and stand behind any recommendations I've made for this Grand Classic. I love every setting on this GREAT razor, each one has it's own way of doing things. And with the Slim's great balance and handling characteristics, all settings can give great shaves...
Merkur Futur (3) RP Israeli Personna (2) TSD Iced Watermelon Soap Rooney 3/2 Super Alum Superior 70 Bay Rum (Boosted) A nice shave today, albeit with a little more neck irritation then I would like. My love affair with red pack Israeli Personna blades seems to have come to an end. They aren't bad, but there are others I enjoy more. The TSD Iced Watermelon is nice. My impression is that the scent was stronger on the puck then on the face. It had a nice sedate cooling feel to it and was rather enjoyable. Like each of the TSD soaps I've tried, it provided a nice amount of glide and a pleasant shave. The menthol boosted Superior 70 provided a nice finish as always. Have a great day.

It gave another very good and smooth shave, but it's showing signs of fatigue. The Proraso White bowl soap always delivers its rich and stable lather and its soothing and cooling effect which makes my skin feel so good.

Sunday EJ89L Treet Dura Sharp Classic (1) Omega boar 10275 MWF Nivea Sensitive balm Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue Grey Flannel edt The Treet blade was an excellent shave the first go around. Will know by the end of the week whether it's a keeper for bulk purchase. Got to get back to taming the Thater on Monday and find its sweet spot for a soap loading.
SOTD Have a very nice Sunday and a great shave, my friends: Soap: Blix shave cream..this cream is really very good and refreshing; had it in the shave cabinet for several months and tried it for the first time. Brush: Kent H-8 Silvertip...one of my very favorites Razor: Bakelite Beauty Slant from Jake: first shave and BBS with caution as I usually only use my Hoffritz a few times a month. This razor is amazing and spins on ballbearings just like the very expensive Pils Razor. Blade: Shark (until the Voskods arrive) EDT: Douro.- Penhaligon's and wonderful cologne :happy069
Yes, Blix Fresh is nice. It's been discontinued, unfortunately. It was made by Evyap Enterprises, which produces the Arko stuff. It's a lot better than the Arko Moist cream, because at least to me, it lathers more richly, and it has more of a cooling effect, as well as better post-shave care for the skin.
Sunday, June 12th Razor: Gillette Norfolk Blade: Treet Durasharp Brush: H.L. Thater Stout 1 Pre-Shave: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Soap: Trumper Limes Soap A/S: Trumper Extract of Limes Splash This was my 2nd consecutive day using the Gillette Norfolk and Treet Durasharp combination. The Durasharp is a good blade...smooth and sharp. However, because I live close to the ocean, the blade is already showing signs of rust and must be changed... an occupational hazard of carbon steel blades. The Limes theme was perfect for a late Spring day. Very nice indeed.

Sunday - Where did the weekend run off to?!? Warm Shower Green Marvy Mug Sabi Badger Erasmic SC Schick Injector G - Turquoise :love029 EMS (1) Cool Water Rinse TRSC Soothing ASB I don't give enough credit to my Marvy mug. When I first began wet shaving, I hand lathered to load the brush up, but much preferred a mug. Since I shave in the shower, I couldn't use glass or even plastic. Jeff did some searching and found me this one, in rubber. She's a trooper, although I wish I could change her clothes, green just isn't her color. It was a toss up which new razor would get used today, the Injector won out over the Eversharp. A fantastic shave all around. I don't know why I don't use the Sabi more, could be because I have seven brushes and normally just reach for my Omega Pro Boar. Anyhoo, I'm off on another business trip, Michigan this time. Have a blessed and productive week everyone!

In memory of Mark "Blugill" I would like to dedicate this SOTD! :sick002 Razor: D3 Red Tip Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel Brush: Omega Banded Boar Soap: Williams Aftershave: Aqua Velva Ice Blue, one of Mark's favorites
For Blugill 1911 ABC Pocket Razor, flower handle Voshkod (1) EJ 25mm silvertip TSD ISZ uber-lathered with C.O. Bigelow SC AV Ice Blue, for Mark, a.k.a. Blugill Really nice shave figuring the razor is 100 years old. I wouldn't say that it is my favorite shaving razor, but it did the job comfortable and acceptably. The uber-lather was truly uber-duber. And the AV is, as always, a thing of olfactory bliss. Y'all have a great Sunday, what's left of it anyhow.
