    Blade: GEM Stainless
    Razor: GEM Featherweight
    Brush: Artisan badger
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Post: Witch hazel splash, Nivea sensitive balm

    No pic today as we were packing up to head out on a family trip! Fat Friday it was though! Mitchell's Wool Fat was lathered with an artisan badger brush with good success. I had 48 hours of growth due to not shaving yesterday. The GEM Featherweight mowed right through it with no issues. I really tried to use NO pressure and let the razor and blade glide along. That worked pretty well. I enjoy the GEM but it can leave me a little raw. Today was a good shave however. The NO pressure mantra worked.

    SOTN: End of a very busy week at work (and long day today!) as we finished preparation of the campus for the VBS (Vacation Bible School) invasion that takes place bright & early next Monday morning. I'm exhausted and required a nice hot shower and relaxed shave. Weapon of choice was my old reliable Böhler-Stahl 'Star of David' razor that has always provided an effortless, smooth shave. Mentholated Valobra soap and soothing Stirling 'Tuscany' balm to finish. Nice, relaxing end to a hectic day!

    Prep: Musgo Real orange amber
    Razor: Gillette Ball end tech
    Blade: Ladas super stainless (4th shave)
    Brush: Maggard 24mm synthetic
    Soap: Mike's Natural- Orange, cedarwood & Black Pepper
    Post: MLS ITALIAN STALLION aftershave milk



    2 pass shave, first time with Mikes soap. Love the natural orange scent, spent a while loading the brush, lather was dissapating at first but got better on 2nd pass. This may be the slickest soap I have tried, I dropped the brush once and Razor twice. Rediculous slickness, curious to see how a boar brush would work with this soap. I guess this is what is called a dolphin smooth shave, very happy with the results. Hope everyone had a great shave as well!

    Yet another marvellous shave with the Rockwell. #2 seems perfect for 24h stubble for me.
    Really digging the Plissoft type brush. Ultra soft with good amount of backbone.
    Didn't get much sleep tonight, so this menthol shave was a nice awakening.
    Finished off with a near BBS shave.
