3P is easily among the best veggie soaps I've used. Still falls short of a good tallow soap. I had a good shave but there was an ever so slight burning from the soap. Because of this I won't be replacing it when its gone.

    Omega Pure Badger,
    TOBS Almond cream,
    Perma Sharp blades,
    Clubman Bay Rum,
    Pyrex bowl....
These blades seem to get better as you go along. My 2nd and 3rd
Shaves were better than my first with these blades. Gonna see how many I can go on one blade. I'm betting 6 ? Anyhow this combo g i be a great results! If you don't have TOBS Almond, get some. Right after you apply it you feel this tingling almost a seeping burn without the pain. Almond oil rocks! ! Bay Rum tops everything off nicely. My face is tighter than a frogs butt right now and a lot better smelling lol! As for the brush, awesome brush. My best bowl latherer.!

    hot shower prep
    aos pure badger
cyril r Salter rose shave cream
    Gillette ss (b2)
    New Lord platinum(1)
    nivea men a/s sensitive
tonight's shave went well. John had sent me some samples, one was rose scented. it did remind me of my grandmom but I was amazed at the lather. I thought I knew what exploding on the brush was like, this stuff just blew me away. because Iknee the roses would bring nana to mind,I used pop dicks super speed. they both have gone to be with the Lord. so it was coincidence that I used a Lord blade. I got a dfs+. the scent was good nice and refreshing.
I finished with nivea men's as. it mixed nice with the rose. thanks again to John.
    y'all have a great night
p.s. I'm either gonna skip tomorrow or switch back to a.m. shaves. pending my whiskers

I bowl lathered today with the Made Rite/TGN Synthetic brush and TOBS Lavender SC. It did not take long to get a rich thick lather. Two passes with my Gillette Fatboy and Shark SC blade left me with a close, comfortable shave. After the cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Finally, finally, finally I was able to resist the urge to use a Stirling Glacial soap but that doesn't mean I'm going to resist using a menthol soap because this Ice & a Slice stuff is plenty cold. It smells so nice and it gives great lather with a lot of skincare. The 444 balm combined with the Penguin added a lot of extra freezing afterwards. I think this Sharp blade is still holding up very well - it shaved me really close this morning, although not quite BBS. ;) :D

Have an awesome weekend, folks! :)

    Friday

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Coniferous Bath Soap
    Soap: Stirling Scots Pine Sheep
    Razor: Gillette Slim [6]
Blade: Gillette 7 O’Clock Yellow Sharp Edge (1)
    Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip 22mmx48mm
    Aftershave: Fine Platinum

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Stirling Scots Pine again today with yet another different brush. Great lather. I put a new 7 O’Clock Yellow in the Slim today. I hadn’t used one in a while. Great smooth, close, nick free shave. I finished with Fine Platinum.

    Frey's Day:

Prep: Hot shower, Healthy Accents Daily Renewal face cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
    Soap: Ginger's Garden Jasmine Tobacco
    Razor: FaTip Piccolo
    Blade: Baili (2)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, ATG (3, 4, 5)
Post: Cold water rinse, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's WH, Aqua Velva Ice Blue
Cologne: Jasmin et Cigarette by Etat Libre de L'Orange

Just your simple, 3-pass, BBS result shave. . . with an increasingly uncomfortable blade. It felt a little rough even on the first pass, despite good prep and the generally great protection the Ginger's Garden products offer my skin. By the third pass, there was enough notable burn to prompt me to reach for the mentholated Aqua Velva aftershave to cool it off, while the alum revealed a couple of spots that weren't technically weepers where the top layer or two of skin had nonetheless been set free.
