    Gillette Fatboy F2
    Shark Super Chrome (3)

    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

I started with a too wet brush today. No problems, I just squeezed it out and continued to face lather my Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap with the Made Rite/TGN Boar brush. I got a good lather, and after two passes with the Gillette Fatboy and Shark SC blade I was rewarded with a close comfortable shave. After my cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Caramba - what happened with the Barbon cream? It's not like it to collapse after being lathered up. The Ingram, at least didn't fail you - thank goodness. :)

No, I didn't grate the soap my friend. I just mashed it into the bowl. Arko is not the softest soap but not hard either, easy to mash.
Each shaving soap has a different character. By dealing with this soap often, you'll adjust the water/soap ratio easily in future.

I really am looking forward to using my "Old Corps & Oscar 11 Custom Brush. It is becoming one of my favorites. It really seems to lather better than my other brushes. I feel that it is one of my best if not the best brush that I have. It was a joint effort between myself and Steve aka Oscar11. Thanks a million. Steve. If it worked today why change it tomorrow.

I am going to shower and shave in the morning as usual. I am also going to shampoo my hair. I plan on going and getting my hair cut tomorrow. Then I will get ready to maybe go Boondocking with some friends. Also yesterday morning I did put in a fresh blade. It's a Wilkinson Sword Blade DE. Update; Earlier today I tried this WTG-XTG-ATG, in my shave. I got a DFS and I only made 2 passes.

I mashed mine too. I thought maybe you grated it first so you wouldn't break your bambu bowl =)

Yes I know ofc, it's just my second use with Arko. I'm just not used to it yet =)

    Synergy Bay Rum
Another excellent shave with Synergy. I used the bay rum again, and it just gets better each time. The scent was somehow better today, and my skin feels even better post shave. It's true that my skin gets used to a soap formula after using it a few times in a row, and after four days with Synergy, this truth is validated. I'm tempted to just keep using these everyday.

    Prep: RR/HTGAM lime menthol
Soap: HTGAM Synergy Classic Bay Rum
    Brush: HIS lather monster
    Razor: iKon ShaveCraft 101
    Blade: Personna Lab Blue (3)
AS: Krampert's Finest Acadian Bay Rum

Damn, I'm a Glacial addict - because of this great uniquely-mentholated line I'll never sweat no matter how hot the weather is. The Lemon Chill soap delivered tons of rich, awesome lather with a beautiful and refreshing scent and a 20 below zero feeling on my face. The other menthol soaps and creams I have feel almost insignificant compared to the Glacials. The Svoboda balm (thanks, Dmitry!) and the Rubby Dubby Doo were both heavenly afterwards. BBS again with so little effort! ;) :D

    Prep: Warm shower, Cetaphil Lotion
Razor: EJ DE89 Head w/ Weber Classic Handle
    Blade: Personna Lab (3)
    Lather: Arko Ice Mint
    Brush: VDH Boar
Post: Witch Hazel, Nivea Sensitive ASB
    Aftershave: British Sterling

I've known for a while that my face doesn't like menthol, but I just have to use it every once in a while. However, I shouldn't have used it this morning. My face was covered with red splotches after my shave. The good part is that they go away fairly quickly. Even so, I still got a fantastic, BBS shave.

    Have a great day!
