This Sunday took my time working on buffing after the traditional three pass shave. Also I'm doing the Gillette slide and it works like a charm. It's getting more intuitive now. I have bought another vintage and a Jagger but I'm waiting to use those until my 30 day's are finished (using my current set up).

What amazes me is I have no irritation and this is the closest shave I remember yet!

I'm happy to report that I finally found a razor that the Feather's work in. I won this razor in a PIF here (thanks Feeltheburn). The Krona with a Feather Gave me a DFS in three passes with 4 days of growth. To say I was amazed is an understatement. I have been loving the TOBS cream so much I might have to just go with it exclusively. I haven't found another cream or Soap that gives me the same consistent great lather.

Fantastic shave.I like the Alt Innsbruck so much.The scent is not everyones thing,but for me it´s one the best scents ever.The soap is outstandig and i highly recomment it.After a very nice day,i had a very nice shave.What could be better than this.

Started off "Synthetic Brush" Week with my big H.I.S brush. It is a very good brush with long, soft tips. The Titan with the R1 head (medium aggressive) was a pleasure to use. Getting a BBS result was easy but I had to be careful not to over do it. I had to M-Bomb the Arko Cool because despite the name, it does not contain any menthol. My Nivea with added menthol crystals is a serious face freezer on par with the Osage Rub. Finished with two splashes of Barbon.

Did some more experimenting today. SWMBO gave me an almost empty bottle of Dr. Bronners Magic Soap, and told me 'Do something with this.' My first thought was, 'can I shave with it?' It turns out that you can dilute it with 2 parts water and 1 part soap and use it as a shave lubricant.

Applied lube by hand, rubbed it into skin and brush lathered over lube for each pass. Got a DFS in three passes. IMHO, the lube improved the glide, and I felt the razor less. My face felt less oily during the day, not sure if from the wh or lube. Pretty cool stuff, and I'll be using it with my soaps that have less glide in the future.

This will be my setup for tomorrow. I will be on the road for a couple of nights so I decided to go for my Muhle synthetic brush. The cream and the aftershave will provide plenty of menthol goodness.
