    Soap: Uncle Jon's Silk Road

Another wonderful travel shave this morning. The Uncle Jon's soap lathered easily and it's wonderful scent filled the room. Three easy passes for a BBS shave. This Supply Provision razor is so easy to use and provides excellent shaves, easily the best razor I own. Have a great day folks!

SOTN: A recent restoration and 'test drive' shave using this fine example of late 19th century Sheffield razor-making from Harrison Bros & Howson. It belongs to fellow TSD member @ob1page . I love the blade & tang shape, plus the very delicate scales made of ivory—but it was in serious need of restoration (corroded and deeply scarred blade—some heavy-handed honing left deep striations on spine & face. Despite some hone wear and deep scratches, the blade, after some determined work, was redeemable and took a wickedly-fine edge.
Soap Commander 'Influence' soap and matching balm, Shave Works silvertip brush. Memorably-smooth shaving experience!

    Pre Shave: Hibco Nag Champa

For the past few weeks my time has been taken up with Dr.s trying to fix my tremors. I was supposed to take one pill twice a day instead of only once a day. That has helped, but I haven`t quite figured out the timing. I have one more dr. to go, wish me luck ( really tired of that stupid electric razor).
Got a great shave with the G4, had to use it like a newbie, only 2 small weepers. Two passes, WTG/ATG and a wet slick clean-up for a BBS+. Happy camper wish a great shave for all. God Bless.

P.S. The 2 round orange sponges are for water dripping down your arm, works great. ( www.onthecuff.com 10 bucks) 100_3700.JPG

I may have said this before, but I like how Soap Commander prints "Winter Scent" on the Influence, so buyers know what to get at the right time.

I think that means it was their Winter seasonal release. I don't believe they classify scents by the seasons. The Fortitude scent was the Winter Scent last year and now it's part of their core line (always available). It doesn't say Winter Scent on the label of Fortitude any longer.

oh ok, thanks for explaining, Perry. I'm interested in their Visiion and Courage, which I don't believe have the "seasons" listed, but their descriptions appear to speak for themselves.
