    Schick G5 razor
    Personna blade
    Dr. Selby Luxury SC
    FS Finest brush
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel/Sage mix
    Pinaud Lime Sec cologne

The G5/Personna whacked off a two day growth with ease. And the Dr. Selby is a very nice SC. Great start to the day.

Prep: warm wash and Cornhusker's lotion
    Lather: TSD Coconut
    Brush: Bodyshop synthetic
    Razor: Weber PH
    Blade: Wilkinson Sword (3)
    Post: Old Spice

I am more and more impressed with the little bodyshop synthetic brush every time I use it. I've had meh lathers with the TSD coconut the last couple of days, but today it was fantastic - slick, shiny and nice. Could it be the brush?

lolllll I wouldn't say I'm his number one customer, but I definitely love whatever products of his that I have. I also must thank Ryan for introducing me to them because until then I had never even heard of Stirling soaps.

My shave today was good enough to keep using that Sharp blade. The Glacial Lemon Chill soap felt wonderful - a menthol blast which froze my face like an arctic wind and enough lather to do five passes. The skincare of this soap is terrific as well.

Looks like the Super-Max Platinums just don't like my dome hair.I get a great face shave ,but even with the excellent iKon 102 slant, I still had to do some touch up work.

    Stay frosty,my friends!

    HUMPDAY SOTD:

2-pass, XTG (ear to mouth), ATG, 20 second loading of brush.
Prep - Hot shower with QCS "Vetiver"
    Razor - Merkur 41C
    Brush - Omega 80265 Boar
Blade - Personna Blue (2nd shave)
    Soap - QCS "Queen Charlotte"
    Balm - QCS "Vetiver"

Today wrapped up my evaluation of "Queen Charlotte" shave soap, it's a fantastic soap that loads easily, builds an extremely rich, lasting lather with lots of cushion and slickness, either with DE or SR blades. The scent is masculine and woody, sticks with you all day, yet remains subtle. Next up will be "Basilica".

Thiers Issard 69, 6/8 Extra Hollow, French Point

A good razor, a fine representative of the interesting French tradition about straight razors. This is not the only Thiers Issard razor in my collection, however I like this one very much, also for its French point, a style I learned to enjoy over time, in my opinion, very effective. The finishing touch has been provided by the excellent Floid Blue, an aftershave said to be discontinued, something I keep on hearing quite a lot lately, and this time it seems to be true. What a pity. I hope Colomer will change its mind about the beloved Floid Blue and resume production.

    Parker best badger
    Muhle R41 (Personna blue)
    Cold water/alum
    Captain's Choice CoNT

Yesterday's Fatip shave was nice, but it just doesn't quite match the R41. Today's shave was splendid, as always, without a nick or any irritation. Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Prep: Hot shower with Nivea Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
Razor: Cobra Classic, H. Boker straight razor
Blade: Kai Captain Titan Mild (7)
    Brush: Turkish #6
Soap: How To Grow A Mustache - Gondolier
After: Home made ASB, Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave
    Cologne: Aqua H2O

Brrrr! I thought that spring was here. I had a comfortable shave this morning anyway. The #6 brush whipped up the Gondolier into enough lather for 10 passes. The Cobra did its job without biting me. The Boker is fresh off of the hones last night and did a great job. The AV brought the chill and the Aqua H2O will have me smelling good for the rest of the day. All in all another Darn Fine Shave + this morning.

    Have a blessed day!

Pre- Face wash with warm water, Stirling Bay Rum PSO
Brush Soak- Sriracha Mug of Doom™
    Razor- Ikon 102 Slant
    Blade- Personna (3)
    Soap- Mickey Lee "Italian Stallion"
    Brush- VDH boar
    Post- Cold water rinse
    Aftershave- The Cool Fix balm

Two and a half passes :WTG , XTG, cleanup w/ a little ATG

Best shave I've had since starting DE Shaving. No Irritation, no bumps, and my face felt great afterwards.

Experimented with PSO again just for kicks. Figured out that I need to wet face, leave damp, apply oil, do my other prep, then shave. Let the oil soak in a bit and it become less tacky for me.
Before I was just washing my face, and then putting the oil on right before the lather, and it seemed to not jive with the lather. Worked so well, I'm thinking this will be in the routine from now on.

Mickey Lee soap did an amazing job again with lather production and protection. Still can't put my finger on what it is about the scent that throws me off. Not my favorite smell, but it works so well
I have to get past that. I'm in the process of looking at the other scents and possibly ordering something else. The Italian Stallion may get PIF'd, we'll see...

Skipped the alum to see how well the Cool Fix balm did on its own. Again, it was a success, so I'm really happy about that!

Prep - Shower / Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam towel
Razor - Gillette NEW Long Comb
    Blade - Perma-Sharp Super (#2)
    Brush - Omega 20106
    Soap - Arko / Eucalyptus & Tree Tea EO's
After - Frozen towel / Alum & WH mix
    Result - BBS

Best shave I've ever had with the LC, pure perfection with the Perma-Sharps. Really liking these blades this time around, so much more comfortable than they were when I was trialling blades after starting DE.
Dissolved some Alum into witch hazel and it makes for a great aftershave.

Fantastic 3 pass shave this morning with no nicks or irritation. As close as I'll get to a BBS on a workday morning. I really like the New LC. It could easily be a daily razor for me.
