Stirling MITA is a must have! Easy to lather, thick slick and smells great. The Turkish #6 is super. 1st time using the Akat, so far good. PolSilver is going strong, I'll push it to #4 tomorrow Go out and get it!

Late afternoon shave with my beloved MWF. My Simpson hiatus didn't last more than 24 hours, stupid love of badger. Funny how I didn't notice scritch on Simpson Best until lathering up for the fools pass. I think I want some softer tips...

It uses late Generation 3 fibers. I am still working on my opinion to write up at a later date. So far it is working well.

    Superb Shave
Everything came together today for a BBS with no burn or weepers. A really pleasant and comfortable experience. The HIS whipped the Gondolier into slick lather in no time... A little less water to start with on my synthetic seems to lead to creamier lather. The 101 sang its way through three easy passes with very little touch up. I topped it off with Krampert's Finest Bay Rum and some Gondolier lotion. It's warmer today, so I may not have needed the lotion, but if wanted to bump up the scent a little bit.

Prep: Burt's Bees Sensitive face wash
    Soap: HTGAM Synergy Gondolier
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: iKon Shavecraft 101
Blade: Astra SP (3 and out, like the Cleveland Browns :))
AS: Krampert's Finest Bay Rum, Synergy Gondolier lotion

    Pinaud Clubman AS

The Van Der Hagen Luxury Shave Soap was very rich as I face lathered with the Semogue 1305 boar brush. I made two passes and touch ups with the '62 Gillette Slim and Voskhod Teflon Coated blade for a near BBS shave. I retired the blade after the shave. A cold water rinse followed by Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman AS left me clean, smooth, and refreshed.

I've never been much of a shaving cream user but I do like this TOBS. The scent is a little strong for me but I like it and the post shave qualities are good. Nice shave this morning. Have a good one.

BBS again in two effortless passes - this new big horsehair brush I received is pretty well broken in now and it whips up fabulous lather with any cream or soap I use. The Gillette Menthol cream is no longer in production unfortunately, however I still have another new tube in reserve. The 444 balm and the Barbon aftershave felt so nice and frigid. ;) :D

Not sure about this blade today. 2nd shave with it and it tugged on all three passes. Lather was decent, but....
Enjoyed the coolness of the MITA again.

    Soap: Stirling Clubman
    Brush: Semogue 830
    Post: Witch Hazel, Cetaphil Lotion

Exact same setup as yesterday for the same fine results. I finished up the Stirling Clubman puck this morning. It's a good thing I have several more pucks of different scents.

    Have a great day!

hot shower w/Yardley Pomegranate Rose bar soap
    Taconic unscented PSO
    Parker 80R 3 passes
    Crystal Super Platinum (5)
    VDH Deluxe boar
GFT Rose cream sample (and a wee bit of T&H Rose cream sample)
    Thayers Rose Petal w/aloe

5th shave with this blade and time to retire it. Very close shave today but right on the edge of irritation.
Had plenty of GFT left in my sampler and added the tiny bit of T&H from that sampler just to use it up and throw the package away.
If you'd have asked me at this time last year when I was just getting started if I'd ever use rose scented shave cream I would have laughed out loud but here I am trying to decide on which rose to add to my permanent rotation. Go figure.
