Brush: Jerusalem Olive Wood/WD Silvertip 24/48
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue

Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, TOBS
I really like this brush nice and soft with good backbone. So I whipped up the Maca in my favorite mug and off we go. The Pearl gives a nice shave, and I'm just addicted to the Gillette Adjustables. WTG XTG on my face an neck on 5 ATG on my neck on 3. A little TOBS. Have a good one.

Hope that your wife get well soon as you may remember last June 17th. My wife had total Knee replacement Surgery on her right knee. She seems to just now be getting total use of the knee. The left one she will probably wait and see.

Mastro Livi K720, 7/8 Full Hollow, Square Point

For this business trip I initially decided to bring with me the latest Mastro Livi Inox 6/8 straight razor, but when I was packing, I thought that bringing two razors was even better. That's why I chose a carbon steel - a K720 - in order to double my enjoyment in shaving. This Mastro Livi K720 is just amazing and certainly meets my expectations: smooth, velvety and with a caressing touch so different from any stainless steel. Not to mention how I like its scales with this chequered tips, giving a lovely touch to box wood.

I really like the Feather blades, but only use them for 2 shaves.

Been there done that with a spider bite, (Brown Recluse Spider) {do not want to do it again....long story} Look at Jayaruh's link to his Blog.....He has some picture of some small spray bottles and some labels he made. I am thinking about doing the same with some of my After Shaves.
    Worth a shoot.

Great looking razor! Not sure about that name for the wood. Must be an interesting story there.

SoTD for Tuesday March 3, or, too tired for clever captions.

    Pre- Vetiver balsam clove pso
    Soap- Pre de Provence
    Brush- Simpsons colonel x2
    Razor- Ever Ready 1914
    Blade- gem super stainless vintage
    Rinse- Osage
    Aftershave- Fine Vetiver
    Balm- Kiehl's Close shaver squadron
    Cologne- penguin

So my busy season has official hit. Like an iceberg hitting a poorly made ship. I'm tired. So I haven't really had time to do the SoTD thing all month. Although I continued tracking pics of my shaves, it was just for me. Now things seem a bit more level, so I can snatch a few private minutes throughout my day, so I can post more often.
I am shaving with an Ever Ready 1914 for the entirety of March, as conceived of by @Bird Lives, in celebration of the little lather catcher's 101st birthday. I actually started using a 1914 daily about a week ago. It has been nice. I have stated in other SoTD posts before, that this is my least used, and least understood SE. The last several days have been a revelation. It is a fantastic little contraption, and has swiftly moved up into the top echelon of my favorites. The particular razor I have been using is a short handle travel cased version. It took a couple days to get comfortable, but now it feels like an extension of my hand. So graceful and maneuverable. Not things that immediately leap to mind regarding 100 year old SEs. It was hard to go back to DE shaving after SINGLEMANIA, my three week bonanza of single edginess. I am already worrying about what I am going to do after I have to put this guy away. Maybe my long awaited, incoming Schick F will ease the transition... in any case, it is great to be back. I will cut my rambling here, but as this shave has some new stuff, I give you micro reviews!
Fine Vetiver- a freebie from a kind member. I love this stuff. Has become my daily go to. Thank you again!
Pre de Provence soap- the cheap French option. And strangely, my favorite. Clean scent, mountains of lather. What more could you ask for?
Simpsons Colonel x2- much smaller than I thought it would be. Quite good. Might have considered this brush top of the heap had I not just bought a New Forest brush.
Penguin by Munsingwear cologne- one of my very, very few modern fragrances. I bought this mostly because I have a lot of Penguin shirts, and I thought it was kind of funny. But I love this stuff, and it has become a staple. Why? Because it bucks the modern cologne trend of weedy water scents. Its new, but smells old. Unashamedly retro, very masculine, 50% off.
