    Today's shave
Hot water wash with a washcloth
FS Pur-Tech synthetic/ whipped dog butterscotch
    Bombed Sara's Creations Loud Lavender
    Gillette Tech (46/49)
    Mr5 maggards handle
    Rockwell Swedish ss (5)
Laboritorios del Peublo Lavender Florida Water
Church today, so a quick (got moving slow), but nice shave was needed. I picked the tech. The lavender was preamiating the bathroom, created and applied nicely with the pur-tech. First pass the smallish handle of the tech seemed tho be disagreeing with my arthritis, i replaced it with the mr5. WOW , it made the tech head sing. Two more passes, great shave. I'm impressed at the difference the handle made. Finished with a splash of lavender Florida Water (love this stuff).
Hope y'all did as well, or better. 20180325_131825_resized(1).jpg

It was Stirling Sunday at the Headroom household. - Executive Man Theme

Stirling Executive Man Shampoo Bar - I have used a shampoo/conditioner (like pert) for over 30 years. I didn't even know there was such a thing as a shampoo bar. It only takes rubbing a little in the hair to work up plenty if a nice refreshing lather. Leaves hair squeaky clean. product moves to longer term evaluation category.

Stirling Executive Man Bath Soap - The sample of this soap that Stirling included in my first order convinced me to test it further. Still great. Since my favorite soap for the last 40 years was reformulated, I have been in the market for a replacement. With the way the Stirling bath soap and shampoo have shown up, MegaLever & Profit or Gamble might wanna look over their shoulder.

Noxzema Classic (pre-shave) - I'm continuing to use this while I'm in tooling evaluations. Frankly, Stirling Shave Soap works well enough for me to drop this pre-shave step when this tub gives up the ghost.

    Cold Water

Stirling Executive Man Shaving Soap - well everybody knows how great this is already.

The Focus Dynamic 1/2 DE, Feather day2 - delivered maybe the closest irritation free shaves of my life. 2 small snag spots with the cotton ball. Pretty sure first time I get BBS it'll be with this tooling.

Splash of Unscented Thayers Witch Hazel - Great toning sensation

Stirling Executive Man w/menthol AS splash - just today, I started picking up the nice cooling sensation of this AS. I've been able to drop AS balm, maybe that's why. Nice and cool.

    Good day my friends .

Excellent shave today. After a bath I applied my Suavecito pre shave oil then got to whipping up a massive lather with my ever ready and some TOBS St James. Used my Gillette Flare as the two I use (the black handled and the plain plated) are rapidly becoming my two favorite razors. An astra blade and to top of a very nice shave some Pinaud clubman.[IMG]

    SHAVE OF THE DAY
    20180325_113149.jpg

Prep: Occams Crushed Lime pre shave soap
    Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic
    Blade: Bolzano
    Brush: Razorock BC Plissoft
    Soap: Cattie's Bubbles Saturday Morning
Post: Van Yulay Shytak Island A/S

Very nice smooth shave this morning. Went with Saturday Morning even though it is Sunday morning. The scent is exactly like Fruit Loops and smells amazing. Using a bit more soap than usual provided a protective lather, much better than my last few shaves with CB. Finished off with Shytak Island, the lid is cracked and had trouble taking the picture. Scent reminds me a bit of Aqua Di Gio, which is strange since I almost used Stirling Aqua DGO for today. Hope everyone had a great shave!

Today's shaving, enjoying this beautiful Victorian era W&B razor, accompanied by the Antiga barbaria do bairro soap, the Romera broach of Manchurian badger that continues its "maturation", this time for shaving the face and delineating the beard, the head was shaved with Gillette super speed with rapira blade (2), ending with after shave the Toja. Relaxing and great. May they continue to have a good Sunday friends.[IMG]

    Razor - 1959 (E1) Gillette Super Speed
    Blade - [IMG] (1)
    Soap - Proraso Sandalwood
Brush - Stirling Two Band Synthetic
    Post - Alum

Two changes tonight. New blade. Wanted a challenge so I went with the Astra Super Platinum, a known trouble maker of a blade. Not sharp at all, really horrible, almost to the horrible level of a Sharp Star. Don't ask me why I keep over 100 on hand and use it for my head shave. I'm just a glutton for punishment. While you're sending all of your worthless Sharp Stars to HQ for disposal, go ahead and include the Astra SP's you have as well. There's nothing the Cartel won't do for your comfort.

The other change was just color of the Proraso tub. Went to red, which is the sandalwood. I'll stick with it through the move. The shave was a two pass and touch up BBS that left a great face feel and made the shave a pleasure. In spite of the blade, yes. Seriously - box them up and send them in.

Four more days of work then a weekend of fun on the way with the move. House is starting to look bare but full of boxes. Storage is slowly filling up. All of my shaving gear except this setup is now sealed in a box awating its new home. Have a great Monday and start to your week! We'll be watching the rivers rise around here the next few days as rain moves in to stay!
