First ever Tabac shave... Man am I glad I have 2 more pucks of this coming tomorrow! I think I could successfully shave with this setup forever! DR Harris 3 in best badger, Probak with an Astra SP, Thayers Rose, Vanilla Clubman and Soap Commander Rose with Menthol!


I tried to clean the excess lather off the puck with my Muhle STF V2 and decide to grab another bowl and dial in a synthetic... SO EASY IT SHOULD BE CRIMINAL!

I haven't used this plate for a while and yes there was less than a days stubble to remove but I love the smooth way the Sabre goes about its job.
It really is a "Good" Friday when it feels like a Saturday.

Just got this Oleo Soapworks Dapper Man in. Was a limited edition collab with Chicano Shaver on Instagram. It is based off of a cologne called Beach Hut. Performance was awesome! My first set from Oleo. The scent is really nice also. And I swear this Tanifuji gets better every time I use it. Closest shave I’ve had yet and zero irritation.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Soap Commander Renewal Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #271 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gillette 195 Fatboy Razor on 7 using a Astra SP blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It was a very smooth and easy shave this morning with my Canadian made Gillette Tech. My NOS Ever Ready c40 and TOBS made a wonderful lather. I finished it off with a splash of witch hazel and some Skin Bracer.

It was a nice way to start the day.

Amazing Shave
I'm hoarding this set because it's discontinued, but I love it. Simple tobacco rose scent and outstanding performance. The brush is made from a Louisville slugger - appropriate for the delayed opening day for the Tigers today. It's going to be a long season, but I'm no fair weather fan.

Guys, guess what - no menthol for me until Monday!

I received 4 new soaps from River Valley Trading yesterday and this morning I went with his Lemon Cream soap. Hey, is this on ever NICE. The scent is lemony with lavender and geranium, it lathers like a champ and it gives good post-shave care. The Pe Re Ja Lemon Cologne was my a/s choice for today. A lovely BBS shave!

Good morning friends. A truly fine three pass shave today with the PAL Injecto-Matic. Wickhams is a wonderful soap can't recommend it enough. I am smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️

Blade: Gillette Nacet (10)
Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve

First shave with the Derby Normal cream. I find it has a clean, masculine scent. Whips up plenty of slick, cushioned lather. The Nacet blade shows no sign of dulling. I'll take it to 11 tomorrow and change out regardless.
