Shampoo - Paul Mitchell Lemon Sage Tea Tree
Bath Soap - Desert Essence "Lemongrass"
Bath Salt - Better Bath Better Body "Grapefruit & Geranium"

    Razor - Sterling Soap's Slant
    Blade - [IMG] *Fresh Blade
Shave Brush - 22mm "Synthia" Chrome Synthetic Nylon
    Chrome Razor/Brush Stand

Shaving Soap - Dr. Jon's "Lemongrass & Geranium"
Lather Bowl - Durance de Provence White Ceramic
    Aftershave - Dr. Jon's "Lemongrass & Geranium"
    Deodorant - Elegant Rose "Geranium"
    Fragrance - Creed "Vetiver Geranium"

Vetiver Geranium has moved up into my Top-5 Creed scents now. I highly recommend it for Spring/Summer/Fall. It has a crisp, fizzy champagne-like vibe with Geranium, Lemon and Vetiver. There is a pinch of green apple in there that gives an ever so slight tart twist. This will be one of my most worn scents this warm season. It's like cold bubbly champagne while wearing a white golf polo on a Spring day with a very light cool breeze outside. A refreshing scent.

First shave with the 1955 Gillette Travel Tech I picked up last month, after cleaning and polishing. 4-day growth. Not my most irritation-free shave, but I was impressed overall and will try it again, perhaps with a fresh blade. I had my Trac ll handy in case I didn't like it or wanted to finish with something else. Normally I use that for under the nose clean-up, but the TT did well enough on its own.

The Afta was a nice complement to the Barbershop scent and continued that classic/vintage feel. I've always loved the Afta scent

Pre- Liquid Neutrogena face wash & warm water
    Razor- Gillette Travel Tech
    Blade- Astra SP (3)
    Soap- Stirling Barbershop
    Brush- Omega 21mm silvertip
    Bowl- Captain's Choice
Post- Classic Shaving alum, cold water rinse, Thayer's lavender WH
    AS- Afta

It's the end of a Sunday or close to it, so it's time to put the weekend to bed around here. Another day spent wandering the wastelands of STL in search of hungry people with money. Well, ok, so they search out the food and I just show up with it, but it sounds much more dramatic my way. I was standing in a certain restaurant, famous for wings, lots of sports and a fascination with the sound owls make and saw a sign on the wall I had never seen before. I've been there many times but I guess when it's empty because all they're doing is take out and delivery it looks different. Anyway, it posed a thought that the most philosophical of this bunch should probably consider. Here you go.

Just some food for thought for those of high intelligence. Or, I don't know, maybe not that high. Anyway, that was a highlight. I started taking a few pictures as I went about my day and decided I'm going to start posting "Pictures from the Pandemic" on a couple of places for some of my friends and others who aren't able to get out due to health issues. I know they are a bit stir crazy and I see a lot so I'll just try to share. This was my first contribution that sort of inspired the idea.

Ok, enough of that. How about shaving talk? Well, I decided no reason not to use the SS and Pro blade combo again. Still performing perfectly well. Another day on the El Caballero to try and help it disappear. It's taking its time, as all soaps do. The JR54 did a first rate job and provided more than enough lather for three full passes to reach near-BBS. That works for me and I am a very happy camper with that. Monday starts with a conference call of sorts then has a couple of meetings behind it and that will be my "day off". Fun stuff, right? Keep the faith and have a great start to your week!!
