RAZOR: Dubl Duck Goldedge 11/16 (Mug), Supply V2 (Dome)
BLADE: Schick Twin
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: RR 400 Noir Plissoft
SOAP: Nancy Boy Signature
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by a rinse with Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Nancy Boy Signature Scent AS Balm and Cremo Cooling Post Shave Balm.

 

GEMonday, March29th, 2021

Razor: Gem Featherweight 1st Generation- Mfg 1950-52,2nd Gen 53-54(different top cap), excellent <mid range, carefree shave, nice feel when shaving.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(1) excellent blade, Very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely & predictable.
Soap: Razorock Lavender, nice scent, excellent lather qualities, nice post shave feel.
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow brown whiskers 26mm, excellent lather creator, soft cloud like soft tips, great scrub + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock King Louis lavender with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with my 1st Gen Gem Featherweight + a coated Gem.

Shave was ok but this boar is not tamable. Stiff knot that wont splay and acts like a stiff scrub brush. The lather was well it just sucked. But that was me / brush issue not the soap.

1-Pass = DFS+++!

The Stirling HA wiped away three days of growth in one pass. The 2011 R41 does it in two passes. I suppose at this point if I want to shave for pleasure, I need to pick up a Super Speed and bust out a four pass shave.
