My brother Fernando really nailed it when he came out with this Vintage Spice soap and aftershave because the scent is not only beautiful, it’s EXACTLY like the Shulton Old Spice which IMHO should never have been changed. The soap’s tallow formula promotes such thick, rich, mega slick lather, and the skincare is perfect. The Fino balm is so soothing as well as moisturizing, and the Vintage Spice aftershave is witch hazel based so there’s no burning or stinging from it and the scent is not only as beautiful as the soap’s - it lasts all day. Three passes gave me a super duper BBS shave that I enjoyed so much!

Sunday injector shave, March 27th 2022

Razor: Yaqi V2 Excalibur AC 50mm- Mfg 2021>Tame mid range, great design, very enjoyable shave and affordable for most.
Blade: Schick Proline AC injector p30(5) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity for a AC blade.
Soap: Razorock Irish Country side, mild scent with excellent lather qualities, nice lather always and protective.
Brush: Yaqi 26mm rainbow brown whiskers, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, nice scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave: brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Proraso green with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion (Scentless)
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers =Excellent shave with my Yaqi V2 Excalibur with a Schick proline p30.

I like this soap scent, this one could easily get on the list. Easily whipped up a wonderful lather.
I normally face lather but since it’s a sample I used my captains choice bowl and can see that this soap lathers much better in a bowl than on the face. Some other soaps I have found to perform their best face lathering, this one as others like PAA for example, as well seem to do better in the bowl.
Just my experience.
These stranglette blades are so sharp and smooth I may be getting a bias towards them as the performance is outstanding.
Reminds me of an SE shave.
And who doesn’t love the Beach, great stuff.

Wow, KMF really creates mountains of excellent lather! I pumped a squirt of the cream into a wet brush and face lathered. Twice I had to add more water. I looked like Santa Claus by the time I had the right consistency. I had so much that I did a third pass, which I hardly ever do. After that, I still felt wasteful about the amount of lather left in the brush. A new Astra blade in the Henson was very smooth.

Yes, that is the mild one. I agree -- it is an easy, comfortable shave. I like my blue one, but now I find myself wishing for another color so that I can make more color-coordinated SOTD pictures. I like your silver one.
