After 5 days of growth, the first pass was a bit tuggy. A second WTG was had instead of the usual ATG. The feather is not my favorite blade but worked well enough. Two mostly irritation free passes to clean up for work.

My face will need all day to thaw out from this menthol bombardment - even the mentholated pre shave soap from Stirling felt pretty cold although nowhere even close to the Kameelperd. Would you guys believe that I’m still using a 250 gram puck that I received almost four years ago and it’s still going strong? I love the rich, exotic coffee/peppermint scent, the glycerine formula gives it awesome lather, the menthol sensation is so potent that it’s a match for any of the Stirling Glacials, and it’s so skin friendly. The Prep and the Snake Bite aftershave completed the soothing and the frigidity. Another tip top three pass BBS shave!

Shave of the Week Starting 7 March 2022

A/S - Assorted but mostly Seaforth! Spiced

My earlier bout of covid messed up my smeller and my favorite soaps from Seaforth most definitely did not do well with my sense of smell. Decided to try again today and, lo and behold, everything was fine. I'm very happy about that too. Using the listed items, I proceeded to have a wonderful shave. The TV Special, for whatever reason, seemed a bit more efficient than my other Flair Tips. Still wonderfully comfortably though. IDK why but am happy with it. My face is happy and so is my smeller. Now go enjoy your day folks.

GEMonday, March 7th 2022

Razor: Gem Junior bar lather catcher - Mfg 1907-11, excellent tame mid range, nice scrolling and workmanship, a joy to use.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE(1) excellent sharp blade, great longevity, smooths out nicely + predictable.
Soap: Italian barber Amici, nice mild scent of grapefruit + excellent lather protection.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm high mountain silvertip badger- excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, great scrubber + great painter.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera Gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups.
Post shave: Italian barber Amici with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion+ scentless.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS, + no irritation + no weepers =excellent shave with my Gem Jr bar with a Gem coated blade.
