Razor : Yaqi Mellon head SSP with a Chippendale 316 SSP handle- Mfg 2023>, mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC that is very difficult to Mfg. I really enjoy the audio feedback from this razor(sizzling sound) of whiskers being chopped clean off. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette 7oClock super stainless(4) sharp and smoooth with great longevity.
Soap : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier, nice addictive scent(similar to Aramis classic) is my understanding + excellent lather qualities. Master soap creations of S.A was selected to create Yaqi soap and fragrance line of products are some of the best IMO.
Brush : Yaqi "Robin" 24mm boar bristle hair shave brush. Excellent lather generator, soft split end bristle hair tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. Good all around shave brush for my needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Yaqi Musketeer Rapier + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with Yaqi Mellon head 316 SSP razor + a Gillette 7oClock SS blade.

Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Haslinger Schafmilch & Lanolin Shaving Soap.
Blade: Treet Classic. (D2)
Razor: Parker Razor Head w/Muhle R89 Handle.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, /Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Brut Oceans ASL./Wilko Men's ASB.

A relaxing Sunday morning Shave.

I have said this in many of my posts that the Haslinger Schafmilch & Lanolin soap is an incredible shaving soap. like all of the Haslinger soaps I've tried it doesn't get top marks for it's fragrance but My skin type really likes shaving soaps with lanolin added to the ingredients, the post shave feeling from it is absolutely superb.

A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Wilko Men's ASB.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

Here my Shave of the Day (24.03.2024)


Razor: Weber // Blade: Gillette Platinum // Soap: Mike ´s Pine & Cedarwood // Brush: Simpson X2L // Aftershave: Alum-Thayers-Pitralon Classic

A great shave again.

The Weber is such a fantastic razor. SO smooth, gentle and thoroughly. Awesome. In combination with the blade i had a wonderful 2-pass shave with minor touch-ups.

Mike ´s Natural Soaps is another excellent example for a top notch soap. I adore this scent. So outstanding with it´s Pine notes, taking you to a stroll through the woods in a chilly, clear and crisp morning in the colder month.

The lather was rich and very slick, with a yoghurt like consistency.

I ended the shave with an Alum block, followed by Thayers Witch Hazel and topped it off with the Pitralon Classic which pairs magically with the scent of the soap.

It was a blast. A very joyful and calming shave.

Nothing less than 10 out of 10
