For me, the Tortola is a little too sweet at the aroma strength of 6/10 and would be better mellowed out at 3. Of the four coconut/pineapple Bay Rum that I have, I like this one the best. I like the aroma strength of his current Bay Rum and I think he took to heart the feedback of his first batch of Bay Rum being on the weak side and overcompensated on the Tortola.

Lather: Scottish Fine Shaving Soap.
Blade: Treet Classic. (D2)
Razor: Parker 55SL Semi-Slant.

An enjoyable shave to finish my shave week off superbly.

The Parker 55SL/Treet Classic blade pair together wonderfully feeling very smooth & efficient.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

The Art Razor Pleasure of Art Shaving Soap (a product of Ukraine) lathered well with the Bethlehem Olive Wood Silvertip Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette Sheraton Razor and a Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickenson's Witch Hazel and Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

You have to be a really hardcore menthol maniac like me to be able to use this Kameelperd soap because it’s so frigid that it easily compares to any of the Stirling Glacials. It has such a beautiful coffee/peppermint scent, its glycerine formula gives it awesome lather with plenty of slickness, the menthol sensation starts to batter your face right away, but it’s so skin friendly. The Stoffel balm is another great creation from Jaco, it smells so minty and nice, it’s so concentrated that just a small amount is needed to moisturize and soothe your skin, not to mention how icy cold it is. The Snake Bite aftershave gave me a tremendous menthol whack, and finally the gorgeous Bleu de Chanel fragrance completed the job. Three passes did me proud with a magnificent BBS shave that I enjoyed immensely!

Razor : Yaqi 2nd generation Mellon 316SSP head with my 2nd purchased Yaqi Chippendale 316SSP handle (Darwin handle looking, close to resemblance to that time era for "The Grande shave King razor",1940's existence)-
Mfg 2023>, mid range. What a nice well machined and finished razor head with excellent QC. The audio feed back is a nice sizzling sound of snipped whiskers is best way to describe it. The razor is delightful to use and performs well + results do no lie. Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : GSB (2) sharp and Smoooth with reasonable longevity. Very nice blade to use on 1-3 shaves for excellent results on my beard mostly.
Soap : Razorock Santa Mari del Fiore, nice vanilla light tobacco scented soap with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Orbital ring" 24 mm boar bristle. Excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristle hairs, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock MF splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Melon razor with a GSB blade. Lots of stellar close shaves lately, not complaining just observing!
