Another wonderful soap created by Bundubeard - Jaco did it again. This On The Berg is a tallow soap with a lovely outdoorsy scent, it gives tons of thick, rich, creamy, slick, protective lather as well as a soothing postshave feeling. The Aloe Vesta moisturizer is unscented so it works great as a balm, and the Florida Water went on with a bit of a sting but then it felt great - do I ever love its delightful old school scent. Three glorious passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

The Jeeves of Hudson Street Shave Soap lathered well with SlimGem 3D Printed Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Astra 501 Safety Razor and a Wilkinson Sword Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

 

That knot really looks good in that handle.

SE SOTD, Friday, March 8th 2022b

Razor : Yaqi Romulus SE 316 SSP with a Yaqi Chippendale SSP handle. Mfg 2013>, mild to mid range depending on blade or shim used. Excellent machining + Finish QC has been my experiences (Try not over tighten top cap and bottom base plate with out a Blade installed.) Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Kai Captain titian mild (8) sharp and smooth with great longevity.
Soap : Razorock Emperor, Sharp scented soap with some scent strength 6-7/10 with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky casino's" 26mm timber wolf synthetic knot. Excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury cloud like soft tips. gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Razorock Emperor splash with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Romulus SE razor with a Kai Captain titian mild.

Mug Lather.
Lather: Williams Shaving Mug soap.
Blade: Treet Dura Sharp (Carbon) Yellow/Red pack. (1)
Razor: Parker 92R. (Face)
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head) - (D3)

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Brut ASL./ Boots Freshwood ASB.

A new shave set up to start the weekend...I can't recall the last time that I used the Parker 92R, which provided me with a close efficient shave.

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap provided a good slick performing lather leaving an excellent post shave feel. It's always a pleasure to use Williams which is sadly no longer made.

The Indian Gillette guard continues to mow through my head stubble with effortless ease.

A close comfortable face and head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Freshwood ASB.

My face & precious swede are both feeling smooth and smelling divine.
