    Menthol Monday’s Siberian Grand Freeze:

    Hot shower
    Yaqi 30mm Barber Pole
    Goodfella/Wilkinson day 8
    Captain Nemo Absolute Zero SS
    Bundubeard Stoffel ASB
Captain Nemo Absolute Zero AS Toner
    Davidoff Cool Water EdT

Never in my life would I imagine that there’s stuff colder than the Stirling Glacial or the Chiseled Face Cryogen soaps and aftershaves but the Absolute Zero stuff passed them in terms of menthol power. The soap is vegan based with such a nice aquatic/minty scent, the lather is awesome, it gives tons of slickness, the menthol sensation is so intense that it feels borderline painful, but it leaves my skin feeling so comfortable. The Stoffel balm is also plenty frigid not to mention how soothing it is, and the Absolute Zero toner freezes the smithereens out of you but it gives great skincare. Finally the Cool Water fragrance which seems to pair well with the Absolute Zero stuff and I’m ready to enjoy another day of retirement. Three passes gave me a wonderful teeth chattering BBS shave that was so much fun!

Wishing you all a good week ahead - be well and stay safe![IMG]

    Menthol Monday's Cold Water Shave

    Cold Water Rinse
    Proraso Green Shave Soap
    Jayaruh #462
    Ming Shi Adjustable (first shave)
    Gillette Silver Blue Blade
    Humphrey's Witch Hazel
    Mennen Skin Bracer AS

The Proraso Green Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #462 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ming Shi Adjustable razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

A fantastic shave set up. I honour and have the greatest respect for those who shave with traditional straight razors.:happy096:

Thank you! There is definitely a learning curve investment but I’m glad I took it on. That’s not to say I’ve ever lost my fondness for my injectors and SEs :love055:

I've made much use of the "Notify Me" lists for various products. I do hear back on some, not all.

Wow.....nice aftershave/cologne. Do you find it a little TOO strong on the Oud or Spice?

Remember my post about Bill Neumann's soap of the same name(Absolute Zero), where I read a post saying it wasn't THAT cold? I guess BN tried. but couldn't outdo the Captain for the freezing persuasion. I dunno, I don't have that particular Bill Neumann. but to me I tend to believe in customer posts.

Love Tabac! One of my favorites of all time. Too bad my wife is not a fan. Well can't win everything, but I still use and deal with the complaints later :happy097:

Thank you for your question. I don't find it too strong. I try to use a modest amount to keep from being overwhelmed. I'm not very good at describing scents, but I think it went well with Lucien's Abricot and the peach witch hazel.
