Hello TSD - my Friday shave:

    2503.jpg

    - Jeeves of Hudson Street "Turkish Bath"
    - Semogue OC badger
    - Gold Dollar 208
    - Tüff sensitiv Rasierwasser

Another nice straight shave today. Not BBS, but presentable ;) Three passes - WTG, XTG and the third one not quite ATG, more like halfway between X and ATG. Worked pretty well - no cuts, no irritations. This soap is very good btw. - the scent reminds me of Stirling Barbershop, but less sweet. Love it. Huge amounts of slick lather, nice post-shave feel.

Now I have to get ready for work. Have a great day everyone :happy088:

Lol yea I saw the emu oil and couldn't figure out If it was a joke, or if there were some plant or ingredient with the same name. I guess the important part is that you like it.

Thank you, I appreciate that. Im gonna tro the Feather AC pro again and see how different the Pro super and the Pro is =) They said the Pro super is more aggressive, but it does a great job on my coarse facial hair.

Shea butter is not for me as a preshave. The shea does provide some slickness but not as slick as the preshave oil that I make but I do like the amount of lime he uses, not overpowering. Prefer the dryer type like Proraso, Vito's or prep or my own version. Thats me though as my brother in law likes shea butter as his preshave.

    Good Friday!

    B2 Mongoose
    Feather Super Pro (4)
    Semogue 830 boar
Route 66 Lumberjack and Jabonman Eufros mix
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Fine L'Orange Noir

I've been using this set up all week, except that I've changed up my soap/cream choice each day. Today, I used an interesting mix of Route 66 and Jabonman in an attempt use up the last bits of these fantastic soaps. The scent was pleasant, and the performance was great. I've got maybe 3 or 4 days worth of this mix in my container before it's all gone. The Semogue 830 boar brush entered service this week. It makes a nice lather like my boar brushes, but it just takes more effort and more soap or cream. I had one small nick on my chin this morning due to operator error. Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable two-pass shave on this Good Friday at home with my beautiful Bride.

I hope you all have a great Easter weekend!
