A little fuzzy, I wanted to share the effects after 3 pints. A new brewery opened up just around the corner from work.

    Great beer, Great drunken shave.

Well I'm not really a Rose scent fan but yes this is very good. A light Rose scent, creamy lather like you would get from BWW, and overall perfromance is what keeps this one in my den. They say Dusy has very similiar ingredients witha couple of swapouts with performance being identical. Maybe somone on here who has used both can provide side by side comparisons.

I Had a Lovely 3 Pass Shave with My Gold Dollar 208 6/8 today...After using my Newly Acquired KROPP 6/8 recently the Dollar feels quite Unbalanced Compaed to it..It Feels quite blade heavy..The Dollar is a Lovely Blade but not anything near as Nimble for me as my Vintage KROPP..I had a very comfortable shave with just about a BBS in most Places..I got this Wee Vintage NOS French Fichard Badger the other day..I got it for 4 Pounds English...Its a Corker with a Chubby like Style & plenty of Back bone.. Happy Easter!!!

Decided to switch it up today and here is what I used.

    SOTD

Pre Shave- 3 cups of black coffee followed by a cool shower

    Muhle R41/Astra SP(2)
    JR #23 Silvertip Brush
    Soap Commander Courage Shaving Soap
    Maggard Alum Block
    Soap Commander Courage Aftershave Balm

Decided to switch it up today from my usual face freezing bombardment and go with Soap Commander today. Loving the scent on the soap and the lather and protection was top notch as well. 2 passes with the R41 (XTG/ATG) and I am pre teen smooth. Alum was silent everywhere except one little spot on the cheek where I must of reopened a nick from 4 days ago. Pea sized amount of balm and realized I took to much. This stuff goes a long way so I rubbed the remaining amount into my forearms. Nice little menthol kick from the balm as well which I enjoyed. Hope everyone had a great shave today and is having a great Easter. God Bless!

hot shower w/Hugo Naturals Mexican Lime & Bergamot bar soap
    Maggard Lime PSO
    Parker 80R 2+ passes
    Gillette Super Thin Platinum (2)
Taconic Tequila Lime cream in a warm bowl
    Century boar
    Thayers unscented w/aloe
    Old Spice Lime A/S
    C&E Neapolitan Bergamot edc

First time trying Taconic shave cream. I've used their pre-shave oil and enjoyed it so I picked up a sample of their shave cream. I'll leave the jury out for a couple more shaves but my first impression is that the lather is somewhat on the thin side. The first dozen swirls seemed to be making a nice smooth cake frosting but once I added enough water to produce lather it thinned out more than I prefer.

Happy Easter to everyone! Interesting shave this morning. I actually ended up with a really nice, close shave. No nicks, weepers, or irritation. The interesting part was in the lather. My soap stick from TSD doesn't seem to raise any longer. The soap is down in the stick and won't lift up with the screw knob. I am traveling and don't have an extra container or I probably would have just scooped it out and pressed it into a new vessel. I'm going to post a picture of it in the Shave Soap forum.

In any event I was able to run the brush around and over it fast enough to get some decent lather, albeit a hair thinner than normal. But then I went ahead and shaved and got a nice shave, so go figure.

I hope everyone has a great day today!
