I've tried Personnas and they work pretty good for me. :)

    Parker Black Badger
    Gillette NEW
    Voskhod Teflon Coated (5)
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue

The Van Der Hagen Luxury save soap face lathered easily with my Parker black badger brush. I did two passes and touch ups with my Gillette NEW and a Voskhod Teflon Coated blade for a near BBS shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Smooth Saturday
I'm really enjoying this HTGAM Coconut Bay Rum synergy soap. The scent is wonderful and it performs very well, just like its cousins. I like this one better than Cavendish and Gondolier. I think the only contender with it for me is Frost_Byte. I wonder how a "frozen coconut bay rum" would be? I guess I could get some m-bomb from TSD to find out.

Prep: warm face wash with Shea Moisture TBS
Soap: HTGAM Synergy Coconut Bay Rum
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: iKon ShaveCraft 101
    Blade: Gillette SE yellow (3)
Coconut bay butter balm before ATG
    AS: Krampert's Finest Bay Rum

    Soap: Stirling Clubman
    Razor: Gillette Slim
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (5)
Brush: Whipped Dog Synthetic/Bethlehem Olivewood 24mmx58mm
    Aftershave: Clubman

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

I was back with the Stirling Clubman today. First time I have gone 5 shaves with the GSB. Great shave on all levels! I finished up with Clubman….of course!

Off to the Texas Hill Country-Kerrville, Texas. Working up there today…..

Inspired by my man Ryan's set-up I decided to freeze my face off in a similar fashion!

Neutrogena Men Facial Wash :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Large Horsehair Barbershop
    Super Speed/Rapira day 6
Italian Palmolive Menthol SC :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:
    Thayers Witch Hazel :love055: :love055: :love055: :love055:
Barbon AS :love055: :love055: :love055: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily: :Animatedfrozensmily:

I don't know how much smoother it could get than this - absolutely BBS and stubble-free after two freezing-cold passes with my Super Speed/Rapira combination and a magnificent cream which is so easy to lather up with. The menthol effect begins right away, and gets stronger and stronger and a cold water rinse intensifies it greatly. The witch hazel and the Barbon are such a wonderful way to finish off a shave! :) :D

    Speick Saturday - Birthday Shave:

Prep: Hot shower, Healthy Accents Daily Renewal Cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
Soap: Ginger's Garden Grass Stain Menthol Snow
    Razor: FaTip Piccolo
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (1)
    Passes: WTG, XTG (1, 2)
Post: Cold water rinse, Dickinson's WH, Speick AS

For my birthday, I decided to pull out the FaTip and give it another whirl with a fresh Bic; previous experience had been that it was a mite too aggressive for my face and technique with the Bic and needed a slightly more forgiving blade, like a Bolzano. However, my usual Bolzano vendor has been unable to restock for a little bit, so. . .

By midway through the second pass, I knew I wasn't going to be able to get through 3 passes with this setup on this day, as 3 different weepers had popped up - one that still has tissue paper on it as of this writing. The Speick helped, and the overall skincare of the products I used was great, but it's just too aggressive a setup for me right now.

A nice shave. A few drops of M-Bomb gave a nice boost to the Bigelow SC. The tech was a gift from my father (a $0.25 yard sale find). The handle is too small for me to comfortably use, but on a Bulldog, the tech provided a nice comfortable shave.

    SATURDAY
An adjustable DE morning shave with the Futur set at a reasonably aggressive '5.'
Good prep using shea butter pre-shave balm and shave cream tamed some of the Futur's aggressive nature.
A very close, 3-pass, near-BBS shave on a leisurely weekend morning. Have a great Saturday, everyone!

    'Chrome' morning shave…
