Not a good shave :( after receiving one of the best most comfortable BBS shaves Ive ever had the very mild Push Button bit me multiple times. I was overconfident... The notorious Micromatic open comb hasn't bit me this much in all the time ive used it.

    Sunday 3/30/14

    Back to the Basics -

Prep: Hot shower followed by homemade PSO.
    Brush: Omega Pro 49 boar
    Soap: Proraso Red
    Razor: EJ DE89L
    Blade: Astra SP (3)
    AS: Pinaud Clubman

DFS with just 2 passes and touch up even though today's lather was weak (think I added to much water). My Omega 49 is finally starting to break in nicely after more than a month of shaves. However it still can't compare to my Vulfix super badger with respect to quickness and volume of lather production at this point. Maybe in another month or so.

    Dove Men's Face Wash
    C.O. Bigelow Shave Soap
    Semogue 1305 Boar Brush
    Gillette NEW
    Voskhod Teflon Coated (7)
    CWR
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Pinaud Clubman AS

The C.O. Bigelow Shave Soap I got in a PIF. It face lathered easily with the Semogue 1305 boar brush. I made two passes and touch ups with the Gillette NEW and the Voskhod Teflon Coated blade to get a near BBS shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
