Truthfully, I have enjoyed the aqua velva so much I haven't tried the others yet. I intend to try Clubman in my next shave. I am looking forward to it as I have tried other Clubman scents and really enjoyed it.

Good time to break into people's homes to find out their printers e mail address. Well, midnight is better but I needed a couple of hours to get to Sweden.

3rd day in a row with a new weeper opening up. This is cause for concern for me. However, 2 passes and done is nice.

    April 2, 2015 - Week 1 Day 5
Prep - Hot shower and towel
    Brush - Omega Pro 48
    Soap - Arko
    Razor - CJB & '59 Gillette Superspeed
    Blade - [IMG] (5) voskhod-teflon-coated.jpg (5)
Post - Alum & Aqua Velva Musk

The WTG pass using the CJB is going extremely well. Much more comfortable in my hand after five shaves. The XTG on the face is getting much better though it's still not as easy as the first pass. As for the neck, well, we need work. I did manage to figure out a grip for the razor when doing the ATG on the neck but getting the right angle is still a challenge. Ended with a quick pass from the Superspeed on the neck only to finish with a very nice DFS. Lots of nice Alum and A/S burn but that's part of the game at this point. Working that blade over the neck looking for the angle is rather irritating.

First shave with my new baili victory razor. I must say it is a good looking razor for $6.50 (shipping included).

So here was last nights set up
    Razor: Baili victory
    Blade: Voshkod
    Soap: Arko shave stick
    Brush: Omega 10049
Aftershave: Gabel's lilac, aveeno unscented lotion.

The result was a DFS. I did have a couple very slight weepers, my fault for being in just a bit of a hurry.

Over all quite pleased with my new razor, it is just the weight I like, decent diameter to the handle and I got a good shave right out of the gate with a blade I had never used before (I know I should probably change one item at a time but I was excited to try some new things since I had received a package in the mail).

The 2011 R41 probationary period continues with yet another very close, very comfortable shave. Not a nick or cut in sight. Just pure shaving bliss. The slight irritation that shows up with alum is barely worth recognizing.

Happy shaving everyone. Have a great Thursday!

April 1, 2015: Last nights shave

Pre- Face wash with warm water
Brush Soak- Sriracha Mug of Doomâ„¢
    Razor- Ikon 102 Slant
    Blade- Rapira Swedish/Personna Med Prep
    Soap- Mickey Lee "Drunken Goat"
    Brush- Omega boar
Post- Cold water rinse, Alum, Witch Hazel
    Aftershave- The Cool Fix balm

WOW, this Rapira and I don't get along at all! I chewed my face up with the first pass bad enough that I changed blades
to a Personna mid-shave. Haven't had a blade mess with me this much since I tried out a Feather. Tugged and pulled
really bad throughout the one and only pass I used it for. Made sure to check it out when I pulled it from the package,
and didn't see any nicks or irregularities in the blade edge. Guess they're just not for me.

The Drunken Goat smells awesome, and works just as good as all the other ML soaps. Picked up a bit of alcohol scent from
the Guinness, followed by predominate notes of chocolate and chestnut. Smells like a boozy dessert.:D
