Razor: ATT R1 with Bulldog handle
    Blade: Astra SP (2)
    Soap: Arko stick
    Bowl: Steel
    Brush: Tweezerman

Preshave was just face wash with warm water and post shave was rinse with warm water then some cold water splashes and pat dry!

Shave was great, an easy DFS with no nicks or irritation. Took the 2 1/2 day growth off with ease!

Razor: This isnt the first time that I used this R1 plate but I have been trying others like the M2 and R2. All I can say is WOW, this was an awesome shave and not sure why I put this plate down to test others!

Blade: One of my favs so have used before and like them alot! Tonite made me like this blade even more as it seems perfectly matched with the ATT R1 plate.

Soap: This is my goto soap but like the R1 plate, I put it aside to test others and not sure why! This Arko just works amazingly well with not to much effort and gives great lather and protection during passes. All you have to do is rub stick on your damp/moistened face then grab the brush and face lather it. Repeat for each pass, so simple but so good!

Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out!

    Thx.

April 5, 2015 "Easter Sunday Shave"

Prep: Hot Shower, face wash for deep cleaning
Pre Shave: Homemade pre shave oil with peppermint essential oil
Soap: Arko with 7 drops of M-bomb
    Brush: Omega 10065
    Razor: Schick Krona
    Blade: Astra SP
Post Shave: Gentlemen Jon Alum Block
After shave: Witch hazel peppermint infused, Nivea aftershave cooling balm, Old Spice Lime.

Thoughts: Today was just another great shave, I loaded a new Astra blade into the Krona and it shaved like a dream once again! Also today was the first use of my "Crusader Bowl" custom painted by yours truly :D. The bowl whipped up lather like crazy and I could have shaved 4 times with the amount it was able to produce. The Arko soap was flawless and the added M-bomb from TSD shop was a luxurious addition to an already great shave. Happy Easter my friends, For He is Risen, God bless you all! Shave on and Enjoy!

Grifetto is a great razor! Mastro Livi created it with beginners in mind, although it is also great for experienced wet shavers as well.
It is made of stainless steel (therefore easier to maintain without concerning about rust) easy to hone, hold the edge for a long time, round point for easier use.
The price is low, if compared to the other razors Mastro Livi makes, this one is in fact a semi-artisan razor and made from blanks personally made by Mastro Livi.
The rest of production is totally hand made, as usual.

After the pass, I just do a light rinse to get the old lather off, then rub stick on face again (but not as heavy as first pass) and rebuild lather using the brush. Works great for me!

After my third pass, if I need to do any touch up my brush has plenty of lather left in it to use without using the stick again. So I would rinse old lather off again and just use the brush with the left over lather in it to touch up.

I usually make enough lather for 2-3 pass shave =)
