    Wednesday:
hot shower w/Crabtree & Evelyn Sandalwood bar soap
    Maggard Cherry Sandalwood Vanilla PSO
    Maggard MR4 2+ passes
    Voskhod (1)
    VDH Deluxe boar
GFT Spanish Leather cream in a warm mug
    Thayers unscented w/aloe
    Paul Sebastian AS balm

Very nice shave today. First time using a Voskhod in the MR4 and I probably needed a third pass but after two plus passes my skin was starting to feel a little hot so I rinsed and called it good.

The Paul Sebastian AS balm just arrived last night and my first sniff told me it might be a bit too strong but it went on very light and gave a nice soothing effect for my finish.

    Prep: CeraVe cleanse
    Soap: Tiki Bar unscented
Brush: Oscar11 with HIS synthetic knot
    Razor: vintage Bakelite slant
    Blade: Gillette SharpEdge yellow
    After: Cold rinse, CeraVe lotion

I always enjoy making a face lather with this big soft Oscar11 brush. Today I unfortunately overloaded it with the soft Tiki soap and I ended up with a huge face full of excellent lather, way too much.

Three passes with the little Bakelite slant gave me an excellent shave.

That baby will shine up nicely Kevin and well worth the elbow grease it takes to make it Purdy! :D They are excellent shavers as well and take a great easy edge as most Sheffield Steels do. You will be pleased with the results. ;)

    Odin's Day:

Prep: Hot shower, TSD Jasmine Sambac Preshave balm
    Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger
    Soap: Ginger's Garden Grapefruit Mint
    Razor: Merkur 41c 1904 OC
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (4)
    Passes: WTG, XTG (8, 9)
Post: Cold water splash, Dickinson's WH, Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS splash

The Grapefruit Mint lathered up so nicely yesterday that I went right back to the well. I got another batch of luxurious lather, and another weeper-free, nick-free DFS out of the shave today; yesterday's shave was simply too close to justify a 3rd pass today, as all I'd wind up doing is shaving lather off my face. Even though the blade seems to be holding up all right, I'll be switching it before tomorrow's shave. In other news, the Simpson is finally starting to show some signs of blooming, just when I was starting to think it was too dense - or my technique too mild - to make for a decent bloom.

    Razor: Schick I1
    Blade: Personna (1)
    Brush: Semogue 830
    Lather: 3p (face lathered)
    Passes: XTG, ATG
    Results: Near BBS

I am very pleased with the Schick and 3p. I'm glad I gave injectors a try. Admittedly I was hesitant about them because they look somewhat like cartridges but the performance was top notch. Very comfortable and extremely easy to use (and quick). The 3p initially gave me instant burn but I aired it out overnight. The scent was subdued and I experienced no burn. Very slick, cushiony, stable, and creamy lather. Easily one of the best soaps I've used.

Today's shave started off wrong. I was suppose to get my Ever Ready 1914 today. Tomorrow now. I'm sick. 1st time using Williams, I love it! Soaked the puck & brush for a 1/2 hour. Rich, Creamy, Slick lather. I haven't used the New in a long time, my 2nd razor I got. Boy have I missed it..a DFS 4sure!
    Go out and get it!

This time shark's blade was sharper and I had much better result than before. It was maybe because of proraso's assistance.
